We’re talking all about what seeds you should be starting now in February. Can you start tomatoes and peppers now? What types of brassicas can you still plant in the garden, are there herbs you should start? Depending on your zone, of course, all of these can vary. Let’s Grow Together! 🌱

The old goat if behind Hoss in front of the red sign that says Hungry.
Yeah!!! So excited to help out in her community garden this year 🥰 Those carrots do look so good!
New subscriber here. New gardener in Zone 9b. So much information my head is spinning! Goat is above Hoss's head in front of sign. I look forward to learning!!
I am in in 7A, I just started my pepper seeds in my green house. I hope it’s not to early. I planted last year the Hossinator, great tomatoes last year. What other tomatoes would be good for my zone. I do can tomatoes.
I live in St. Cloud Florida about half hr from Orlando I have radishes in my grow box n they will be ready in a week n my tomato plant has been planted in a 20 gal pot n it’s loaded with tomato’s I picked the first one today n a large head of cabbage yesterday with 4 zucchini. I have beets been up about a week along with Kayle when my radishes are done I have watermelon plants sugar babies in that box, I was curios where you all live
The old goat is dropping hints he's Hungry lol
The old Goat is by the Hangry sign on the second shelf from the top behind Greg. Thank you for this important information. Depending on which site I check for my Last frost date, I'm either 6B or 7. I usually spilt the difference. Peppers and tomatoes usually go out on Mother's day weekend.
The old goat is above Hoss' head next to the cast iron skillet. Love you show, the best gardening show on YouTube.
Zone 5 – I don't dare to put tomatoes into the ground until last week of May to mid June. Ground has just been too cold the last couple of years.
Old Goat is directly above Greg's head, standing in front of the red sign.
This year, I'm experimenting with spring carrots in 8A using homemade seed tape. Will it work? My homemade seed tape test using lettuce seeds worked perfectly, but only time will tell whether it will also work for the carrot seeds.
Thank you 🙏 I’m in zone 9b in southern Ca. I started me seeds indoors 2 days ago. I was kinda of worried I was doing it to early. We will be in the mid 70s to the 80s this week ..
What zone is upper northern California, 20 minutes from Oregon boarder?
I’m using your heat mat and trays should I put the tray directly on the mat without the water tray? If so, the plastic dome does not fit on top what do you suggest? Thank you.
Thank you for the very rapid response. I did watch that video before I see where you have the tray sitting on top without the bottom tray, but mine are indoors and trying to get a jumpstart. Was just wondering about the use of the plastic dome cover at the bottom tray in conjunction with the heating mat. Thank you very much.
Old goat in front of Hungry sign.
have a question;;;or request ;;;;;looking for paprika pepper seeds for making paprika powder;;;;not much on comments but full time viewer and thumbs up from me;;;
Zone 7 here and you kind if skipped over it. Two weeks later. Straight into the garden before Mid May, Mother's day, is risky for tomatoes and peppers. Still chilly often cold until then.
I see the old goat hanging on the Hungry bag straps behind Greg. Sheila you can also sprinkle sugars on some of the veggies.
This is the first time I have seen your show. I like the information. I learned about you from Jason at Cog Hill Farm.
Hey y'all. Just wondering what you think of the Farmers Almanac saying we're going to get a freeze in late February? Zone 8a here. I once heard from an old farmer not to put your tomatoes in ground until Mothers Day. I've stuck by that rule and my indeterminates produce until mid October.
We gave away 5gal buckets of Red Snapper, and Belle Rosa tomatoes last year. The more we give away, the more God blesses the garden. Gonna try the Hossanator this year in addition along with a later run of Homstead.
That old goat is hungry up there by the frying pan.
"It's like eating good cardboard". 🤣☠
What brand of electric pressure cooker did you get
We don't drink milk, but I make gravy with it. Then I freeze dry the rest and it has come in handy. I freeze dry all kinds of veggies and making soups or stews is now so easy. Love it. Can make chips out of cucumbers and or squash with ranch seasoning or italian seasoning on them first. Yum
Old goat is behind sign saying hungary
Another great show. I can't wait for spring planting. The old goat is on the shelf next to the heart, behind Mr Greg.
Pumpkin Panhandle of Florida lots of greens ♥️🇺🇲♥️
I’m in zone 8b too . Here in Panama City we all know no matter when Easter comes we will get a freeze right before Easter, no matter what the last frost date is! That’s just what happens here locally.
