What a perfect educational and pleasurable vacation. Bravo to you Wendi. Enjoy your time visiting and exploring.
Have you heard that reason the “global south” is so poor is because agriculture is much more labor intensive than it is in cooler areas. To me, this means in the tropics we should have a much more extensive infrastructure dedicated to serving farmers.
There are some rare plants of interest. The clove tree being one of them, rare in us but common there.
😊. Did you see any for sale willing to ship 🛳
I just moved here last year and learning to grow in the topics too. I have a massive rooftop garden and just setting up an edible garden at my office now too. It's by turns so rewarding but also frustrating. You should come see what I have done the next time you come to VN.
Wendi Plan, I just started watching your videos! I am very impressed to find your great videos on Gardening! I grow many Asian variety of plants. I grow Shungiku, Myoga, Ginger, Shishito peppers, Momotaro tomatoes, Japanese eggplant, organic Soybeanns. I live in Delaware USA and this items and more grow very well in my garden. I will subscribe to your videos and learn from you.
Great video Wendi! Your Aunt sure is very fortunate with you as a niece. I am not surprised in the least that you are as happy in a garden space in Vietnam as you are in your garden space at home. This video is indeed a treat and a gift!
REV is great. Used it last fall when my Cucumbers and zucchini weren't doing so well. They put out more flowers, and got another month of harvest. Thanks for sharing this product.
I bet she is glad that you’re helping her
What is the name of the greens that you rooted?
They could use the pete moss as mulch also but im sure its spendy. Also i prefer building large planter boxes instead of using lots of small containers because the large planters have much more stable moisture & root temperatures. I like growing in 50 gallon fish tanks using a 1" sheet of foam board floating on top with the plant roots down in the tank. One air pump/stone for air and a few goldfish to keep the algae under control in the tank. These systems would likely work great in vietnam as the only variable is the in tank water temp. Thank you for sharing.
I bet your aunt was happy to have her famous gardening neice help with her garden.
LOL when you are "looking dew-y" it makes it more authentic! Perhaps your aunt could utilize some "wicking beds/pots" for her patio during the dry season…and would also help to reduce the amount of times she has to go up stairs. Thanks for another good video!
AWESOME Video Wendi, your Tía is so lucky to have you as a niece, hmm…that product Organic Rev seems like it would help me here as well, because you could say we only have 2 seasons, rainy season in summer and the dry season from October until April and during the dry season its hard keeping the soil moist, I've been using mulch but hoping they ship here to Mexico. Thanks for sharing, 👍and wishing ya a great week.🤠
Hows everything Wendy?
Wendy phan, verry good
