My passion to learn homesteading comes from my non-profit Cliff’s Story, Inc and the future homestead called “Clifford’s House” in my sons memory.

I lost my only son Cliff to suicide in May of 2005. Losing a child affects you in a way that changes who you are forever. It took quite some time, but I eventually understood that my son Cliff was sacrificed so other’s can be healed.

Clifford’s House will house 40 young adults, consist of a 40 week program, and will be a place young adults can come and immediately feel the peace on this property where they are understood. They will learn to grow their own food, life skills, get their brain scanned and placed on a holistic protocol to help them cope with any mental health challenges. This channel will serve as training for me as I go, lend inspiration to possibly you or others who desperately want a homestead of their own….why wait?
