they're not throwing that ball anywhere near the speed of light, it would take an 8th of a second for it to do a full circuit in that case. they are however throwing it a lot faster than the speed of sound.
Last year when i first watched invincible i thought damn this is gonna be gory when one of the blue guys lost an eye the episode ends and i’m like holy shit thats way more gore then I expected
The end of Episode 1 is so brutal and a full tonal shift from what you expect from earlier in the episode but damn is Invincible a good show.
