Getting ideas to IMPROVE OUR ENGLISH KITCHEN// In this video, we’ll be discussing kitchen improvements and ideas to help our English kitchen become more beautiful and even more timeless and classic.

We visited the beautiful DeVOL Kitchens showrooms at Cotes Mill in Leicesteshire (I have been pinning their images to my kitchen Pinterest boards for years now!) to get inspired and seeing their 5 amazing kitchens ranges. A new kitchen would be our ultimate dream but we think you can definitely improve a kitchen by going for a high quality worktop, beautiful knobs, a classic sink and tap. We will give you an entire tour around the inspiring showrooms including all the antiques that you can buy there as well! Kirsten & Jörg xx

  3. Hi …just catching up watching some of your videos – fabulous 👌 👏 👍
Do you happen to know what the blue paint was in the drawing room 🤔 and do you know if the flower mural was hand painted ? Many thanks for all of your inspirational content 🙏

  4. Wow! We live a short drive from deVol yet have never been. We must go. It is amazing. I love everything and so appreciate the craftsmanship of their beautiful kitchens. Thankyou so much. Your videos just keep getting better and better. What will you do next?!

  5. Although your present kitchen is gorgeous, I can’t wait to see what changes you may make. It was a very inspiring video. P.S. We have wild peacocks living around our neighbourhood. There is even city signs which tell people not to feed the peacocks 😊. Take care 🤗 ❤🇨🇦

  6. Thank you for taking us on a tour of that very unique kitchen showroom. I love English style kitchens as well. I just did a light refresh on my own kitchen, not English country style bu t it’s amazing what a difference a new countertop, backsplash , sink, faucet and hardware can do to change the look. You’ll be able to make a big difference with your “bits and bobs” and make it closer to your classic English kitchen ideal.

  7. Well, fashion certainly does go around and around ….I remember all this stuff from the first time around…then came the ultra-modern kitchens everybody had to have…now it seems we’re back to shaker style and old antique stuff everywhere!

  8. Our house is only 13 years old but our formica kitchen counters and our cabinets have to go. Well, we did replace the counters with granite which is a good idea,(granite is much less expensive than quartz) and as for the cabinets I was trying to decide if they needed painted or replaced – but upon close inspection I decided it was pretty much the doors that were showing wear, so we found the company that had made them online and they still make this exact cabinet , so we went to Lowes and bought all new doors for our cabinets. We got them on a fabulous sale and it was about $300 in total for 20 doors. My husband was easily able to do the job and now the cabinets look like new. Painted the walls and now all I have left to do is reupholster the chair seats, which should be simple.

  9. Thank you so much for the tour! I love the show, but I doubt I could ever see it from this perspective with so much detail and thoughtful comment!

  10. las cocinas son preciosas y me encantan las antiguedades ,de hecho veo todos los dias el programa de drew pritchard .por cierto el color de los muebles de vuestra cocina es muy bonito y alegre .Besos desde España!!!!

  11. I really do love the little kitchen and dining area that you have now but it's always fun to look and be inspired to upgrade!

  12. No, this is not a Biedermeier cabinet, but a so-called Louis Philippe with the typical bevelled edges, the ornate crown moulding and other typical decorations.
