Part Two of my Four Ps Series – Purchase. We visit Jamesfield Garden Centre in Abernethy (thanks to them for allowing me to film) to have a look at containers. I reveal the three questions you need to ask before you buy containers for your garden. We also talk about seeds and seedlings.

  1. I never considered the drainage between bags ands containers it’s a really good point. I have some stacking towers that I’m planting up this year with strawberries 🍓

  2. If you're really strapped for cash, pastic carrier bags will also work well with a few holes poked in them.

  3. I’ve collected lots of containers over the last couple of years, mainly b&q builders buckets, Morrisons flower buckets and the square/rectangular planters that Asda often sell off cheap. I’m investing in some 30 litre buckets from Oakland – 10 for £33 delivered with a promo code!
