  1. Hoooooray for daffodils! You inspired me to order up some bulbs in your last bulb planting video… and I think yours are Tete a Tete ? (small, which I ordered too). Will love to see what you do with them. How can you possibly top last year's Spring window boxes?! Daffs, hyacinths, pansies…oh my.

  2. No surprise that you went furniture shopping and came home with a huge plant haul, Laura. Furniture is boring. Plants are exciting. You found some really great plants in January. Love them all. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿ•Š

  3. Have great memories of my Dad's kumquat tree. He lived in south Texas and it was planted outside and grew quite large. Loved the fruit.

  4. Hey Aaron and Laura! Love your videos, have you ever considered buying another plant nursery and expanding Andrew seed?

  5. First came across kumquats when living in South Korea. My students told me to eat the whole thing. Strange I thought but it was delicious. Would love My own tree. Great haul. Our garden centers have very little right now in mid Michigan. Lucky Laura.

  6. That's what I'm doing House Plants propagating , repotting,, Love you picks of plants ! ๐Ÿชด

  7. Hey Laura and Aaron. Beautiful haul. Iโ€™m very new to gardening so please excuse the question. What do you mean by hardy to negative 10? Iโ€™m in zone 9. Thank you.

  8. When you mist, do you use distilled or bottled water? I can imagine the hard water would not be good for misting plants.

  9. I loved this plant haul so much! It really helped lift my spirits this morning as I'm sitting in a frigid marshmallow world in Utah–So grateful for the moisture we've had but the near constant blanket of snow this time of year gets me majorly SAD. So seeing all of this color just totally perked me up. I need to visit some larger nurseries in Salt Lake to see what they've got. Thank you guys for all your work on these videos!

  10. The one thing I find that you do not do is no self watering pot. If a plant is high maintenance why not use a pot that is good for the plants growth.

  11. You are such a delight to watch . You make a cloudy day sunny with your personality. Thank you for the uplifting videos you and Aaron make ๐ŸŒป๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒผ

  12. Heather is a lot like Hydrangeas. Heather likes a lot of water. I love Kumquats. Hard to find anymore even in Florida. My Daughter bought me a kumquat tree for Christmas along with a Lemon tree. Both are doing well in my Greenhouse I got from my Son for my Birthday in March.

  13. Hi!! In regards to your kumquatโ€ฆ I had never heard of one before my cousin made me the best cocktail with one! Gin, soda, a splash of 7-up and squeeze the kumquat and drop it right in the drink ๐Ÿ˜‰ hands down the best most refreshing drink ๐Ÿน

  14. Is it okay to lightly paint pots sort of like you did the saucer? I donโ€™t want to interfere with the potโ€™s ability to aerate.

  15. I'm glad you shopped for furniture and relaxed and bought pretty plants lol. I love how u guys follow your joy it's the way life is supposed to be!

  16. Hi Laura! Peter is a good friend (pre "How's it Growing" haha!) His pots do come with saucers to match. The one you purchased is part of his wholesale line made by his awesome team in Honduras. These are sold in nurseries and garden centers. When ordering from Wakefield directly, the pots are hand made, one at at time, by him personally at his studio. Love the myrtle and the pot! Looks great! Cheers!

  17. My biggest challenge right now is,, soil and moss that I purchase, j get a huge amount of nats … any suggestions. I live in zone 7b with high humidity and lots of rain ๐Ÿ˜‚

  18. Iโ€™m excited for you and I canโ€™t wait to set mine up. Canโ€™t wait to see what you have planned โค๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ˜Š

  19. It was very nice to see your bright energy this morning, bringing us some hope that spring is around the corner. Minnesota zone 4 here… thanks โ˜บ๏ธ ๐Ÿ˜Š

  20. You could also use a pretty plate as a drip tray. That would fit in with โ€˜romancing the ordinaryโ€™. I wonder if your mom does that. Probably can find pretty single plates at second hand stores.

  21. In my experience, cyclamen in the house are much too easy to over water. They will be doing fine and suddenly they start wilting. Taking the entire plant out of the plastic pot, and letting the soil dry as fast as possible saved some of them. People I've known who had them sitting in sunny windowsills and who let things dry out tremendously, managed to be the people who had these last year to year.

  22. Hi Laura, you will absolutely love the kumquat fruit the more you eat it. I learned about this wonderful tree from my grandmother. Enjoy!

  23. You MUST try the berries on the wintergreen! Here in PA they're used to flavor teaberry gum and ice cream! Sooo good!

  24. Lol loved the effects, made me giggle ๐Ÿ˜‚
That topiary is so cute! I have 4 indoor cats that prevent me from having real plants. So sad. Iโ€™m waiting patiently to get my hands in the dirt this Spring. ๐Ÿ’
