  1. Dang Emma…sage advice that'd make Monty Don and Carol Klein proud! In fact, your love of gardening reminds me of Ms. Klein – you both have the same level of enthusiasm [at least in my book]. Enjoyed the video – thank you for sharing! Cheers…

  2. You’ve just reminded me about our daffodils haha. I’ve just ran up the garden in my PJ’s with my torch to look for ours and low and behold there they all are popping through about 2-3” high!! It’s so fantastic to see green growth, especially in January. ❤️🐝🌸🌻

  3. hi Emma I hope you don't mind me saying with your compost bin you might like to turn it over and there is a compost maker you can get from most garden centres it is called compost maker it .makes your compost to break down

  4. Great to see you in the garden. We still have a couple feet of snow on our garden! We will garden through your adventure until the snow melts!

  5. Hello Emma, It sure is terrible to be wet and cold at the same time. It is true of gardening that it does take time we can’t rush it we can’t click a button you can’t pay extra for expedited service or put in a rush job it comes with it is ready. The garden offers us plenty of opportunities to practice our patience. It takes a lot of patience to be successful in the garden because you can dream and you can plan and organize and execute and the Waiting takes patience. I am looking forward to your water garden next summer to see all of the bugs are the plants and the other nature that come to the water garden. I do hope that you attract a Loch Ness monster Wouldn’t that be so fabulous! Cya next time bye

  6. Emma, I got the water lilly seeds before I even dug the pond lol! 1st year and I'm gonna follow and share with you.. ur vids are great cos of your optimism and humour and cheerful nature thanks for the advice 👍

  7. 💗🎉🎉💗 I can't wait for spring and seeing those beds full of baby plants and beautiful blooming bulbs! So many bulbs this year, I love the idea of scattering them throughout. 💗 Cheers!

  8. Eeek, we are going to get -4 next week here in Cambridgeshire. Hopefully won't be too frosty for you there Emma! x

  9. Your a wee star. My ardvice is keep snipping. Brambles will always beet your ass otherwise. What is lovely about your good self is that you love the bit of commitment you put in. Keep that up and it takes time and effort….plant some Snowdrops and tulips in dence clusters to give you some insperarayion.

  10. Great advice Emma for new plot holders. Patience yes, and have a plan when you visit your plot of what you want to do and stick to it otherwise you run around like a headless chicken and when you leave you feel you haven’t achieved anything. Keep up the good work.

  11. I didn’t have allium leaf miner in my vegetable area until I bought and planted gladioli bulbs. If I started an area again……

  12. Great vid Emma..
When people ask me emma when they take ots on or move house and gave gardens to dort out.
I say simply to them it's not a race to get it sorted but it's a marathon little and often is the way to go
    All the best 👍

  13. Keep going with the compost,it will be worthwhile. Try and avoid bramble as it will grow like cuttings in the bin. Maybe use a separate bin for things like bramble and perennial roots to rot together. Your Plots looking good.
