  1. Looks good! Could you speak on why composted manure isn't a good idea? I'm wondering if I've been doing it wrong.

  2. Those pots are awesome. I have about 10 of those. BUT there's no where to go from there but to the ground. They held my pomegranate and Japanese maple for about 3 years. I finally had to put them in the ground and within 1 year the trees had doubled vs 3 years of barely noticeable growth in the container.

  3. It is amazing how much they price gouge for out of country sales! $11ea in US, $44ea in Canada! That is more than the difference in the dollar…

  4. My experience with 1/2 peat potting mix this year was not good. If kept a minimum of damp, peat sucks up and holds onto a lot of water, but if allowed to dry, it becomes hydrophobic… Water just runs strait through without slowing down…
