  1. It’s not the man’s fault; anybody from California can sympathize with the frustration. To the government workers, officials and representatives who have been on the homeless issue for years now as it progressively gotten worse, quit misappropriating our tax dollars to supplement your salary, your purposefully prolonging the problem so you can keep collecting unreasonably large compensation on our behalf. Stop STEALING from us and do the job the public has tasked you with. CORRUPT pos!

  2. “Unhoused” is offensive and insensitive!! We should start calling them by the correct 2023 term; “Homeless” ..educate yourselves.

  3. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha

  4. Though I am commenting from Seattle this is a legitimate question. I'm sure that it's not just in my area. We chase down trying to find more shelters yet we don't look at all those people that have vacant buildings and have sat on them for years without either renting them or selling them. The question isn't just to build more housing but why are there so many lease available signs on buildings that never get used. And I'm talking years that we see these buildings.

  5. Another outlet says he is facing criticism?! He needs to be facing criminal charges. He committed a crime and assaulted this human being. This is elder abuse!! Period! If a woman's adult son or daughter sprayed her with a hose they would be in jail and adult services would be involved. Im so sick of these double standard. Arrest this man!!

  6. What is the city of San Francisco doing about the BUMS on the street? Nothing! They were there when i was in college and they are still there on the street, bothering people for money, smelling bad and refusing to move.

  7. The man with the hose! Go to Hell 1:29 video of you know all along the person is psychotic why still hose her! Social services worker get your lazy behind and work! Psychotic or not she don’t deserve that!

  8. next up. SF citizen give food with potassium cyanide to homeless people. Is just gonna be a matter of time.

  9. Is unhoused a new euphemism for homeless? Small business owners shouldn't be the losers in this conversation.

  10. TRUTH: Everybody is for helping the homeless, just not in their neighborhood. So let's be honest, we have to start composting them. Most of them cannot be helped.

  11. All these people, why didn't they help her. So easy to point fingers like the tuff guy, police, mayor, social services. Why don't they give her a place to live, food, and clothing? They won't because they have to take care of their own family. Just like the business owner. You're no tuff guy, you didn't do shit, just virtual signaling when the camera is on.

  12. because we live in a hype culture that bad karma on one person imposed on another as hype culture is a bad culture that people refuse responsibility while trying to suck all the power into themselves! eventually the few good people who want to take responsibility cannot do nothing because no power left! sorry if this business guy has to take the bad karma then he should fight with the ones who impose that on him, and not continue to blame the victim! the homeless woman is also the bad karma from another evil!
we live in a society! it's shared responsibility! you want it or not! hype culture is atrocious!

  13. Remember these are the same people who are complaining about their homeless problem. The double standards they have is ridiculous

  14. How is she psychotic if she is sitting quietly to the side? He is the one acting out potentially causing her to die of hypothermia.

  15. this man did two stupid things. spraying that woman, and opening a business in SF

  16. Kudo's to the store owner. If all of these so called homeless advocates would actually take these people in and provide room and board, we probably would not have to see these types of altercations with the folks, like this shop owner who has to put up with these crap day after day. But again, the homeless advocates don't want to have to deal with homeless problem directly just like the family members of these vagrants did not want to deal with them either!!

  17. We should have never reduced an understanding of homelessness, poverty and unemployment to the failing of individual character, laziness, indifference or a lack of personal responsibility, but instead viewed such issues as complex systemic problems generated by economic and political structures that produced massive amounts of inequality, suffering and despair – and social problems far beyond the reach of this individual capacities to cause or redress."
