An essential tool kit for horticulturists, gardeners, allotment holders, etc! I have six years experience working outdoors with my own gardening business. These are tools I’ve invested in as they are ones that are really easy to use, keep clean, keep sharp and will last a long time.

I really recommend choosing tools wisely and spending your money on a tool that has quality and longevity. However, affordability is also important so if you are looking for inexpensive versions of these tools then look for strong, sturdy types as they will last longer. Avoid plastics and weak metal.

  1. This makes me wish I had a garden to tend too . I don't really need any tools for my indoor plants other then my scissors. Garden dreams .

  2. Great video! Also you say “Broom” up here in the frozen north we say “brush”! 🙏

  3. they/they pronouns.

DID AN INTERVIEW FOR A RECURITMENT (TEMP) AGENCY TO GET AN INTERVIEW FOR A TRAINEESHIP – Horticulture Certificate II (Parks & Gardens) SO I JUST REALLY NEEDED TO SAY THANK YOU so much from the bottom of my heart, you helped me so much, BECAUSE NO JOKES LITERALLY WOULD NOT HAVE GOT IT, WITHOUT FIRST SEEING YOUR VIDEO FROM LAST YEAR.

I’ve always had a green thumb and loved learning and advocating for environmental issues when as a kid.
I NEVER GOT TOLD THAT HORTICULTURE WAS A CAREER OPTION OR THAT IT EVEN BLOODY EXISTED HAHA, SO THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!. Do you have a mailbox thing at the post so maybe I can send you a fan mail ? Also if there’s anything (obviously that’s allowed through borders) that you want from Australia, I’m an Aussie. I can send you something you’ve always wanted to try?. Have a great day/night.

  4. I've come to the conclusion that you're a rake theif! In one of your other videos you talk about a rake you've acquired from B&Q, however you say up until that point you've never stepped foot in B&Q. "Elementary, my dear Watson". I jest if course.
On a more serious note, I'm starting to take a liking to the products that the Japanese have to offer, including the tripod ladder. I was wondering if you've used any seceuteurs by Okatsune or Niwaki and have any thoughts on them? Or if you have thoughts on Japanese tools in general compared to some of the European brands?

  5. How tall is your tripod ladder? I am thinking of getting one for trimming crabapple trees in our front yard and was wondering which size would be more useable for garden trees? Thank you.
