    I scatter onion peelings on bare soil because it deters (to some extent) neighbor's cats who want to use my dirt for their dirt !

    Запомните граждане одну простую весчь — ничто ниоткуда не берется и никуда не девается. Если в вашей земле есть все эти перечисленные вещества , то они будут и в луке и других овощах и фруктах, но если их нет, то и нет. Поэтому надо пользоваться минеральными удобрениями и разными хелатными формами микроэлементов. Иначе все зря. Йода вообще на постсоветском пространстве чуть только возле холодных морей. Но там ничего не растет. Удачи
