I'm happy to see you again and is nice knowing that you are better fern! 🥰🌿💚
Focusing on my new beauties, Alocasia silver dragon and Alocasia black velvet. So excited to see them grow!
Happy New Year Fern!! Glad to hear you’re feeling a bit better! I missed your face 🥺🌱
ferns back!!!
1. is that a bloom on that hoya vine that kept tryna hug you? lol
2. i have calatheas and i use a slow release fertilizer on them but i also add worm castings to my potting mix. my potting mix for them mostly consists of coco coir and some pumice since they do not like to dry out at all. and as far as lighting they prefer medium light rather than bright indirect. where they originate they are on the forest floor and surrounded by trees so they would get medium to dappled bright indirect.
3. im got so excited to see that u uploaded. luv u Fern!! say hi to Olive for meeee
I hope to get at least 1 hoya in bloom and the quen antherium and pallidiflorum grow bigger. For the other anteriums and philodendron getting more mature leaves would be great as well. Most were added to my collection from july 2022 as cuttings so this is the year they should start growing
I see a pinkish pendacle near for elbow when you are showing your hoya bells..is that only me or is your hoya actly blooming
There is something about your goals videos that hyper motivates me to jump into plant care mode 😂 Between you and Kevin, my plants and I may actually make it through the end of this winter 😅❤
I love ctenanthe lubbersiana and mine used to be very leggy. So I cut it back so it can have a fresh start. few months later, it became a bushy plant. 😀
I missed you🥺 I'm glad ur back
Your hair looks so cute!!
Missed your videos. Happy that you're well and back. Im sure you'll have all these goals striked out at the end of the year✨️
For Calathea I find they the pebble pond thing works really well cause they get even more humidity then I already have from my humidifier. Plus they stay most but not soaked that way which they seem to love. Also, slightly lower, but clearly not low light seems to help me. I want you to know that these goals videos have really made me wanna make sure sure I focus on the plants I have already this year! Thanks friend.
prayer plants thrive in self watering pots
My exotica looked like yours. It is now a full plant. I kept propagating it and putting new cuttings back in pit. Can’t wait to see what yours will look like by end of year
Love these goal videos! Theres so often a focus on just getting more and more plants instead of enjoying what you have. This year i want to focus on my white princess – i accidentally snapped off a leaf and that activated 5 growth points 😂 😭 the newer leaves are tiny and sickly but i think thd second batch should hopefully be better! Then i will pop her on a pole 😀
💚💚
Hey, so Calathea tip I have is only used distilled, filter or rain water. I find that regular tap water causes it to crisp up and brown. And watering it regularly matters more than humidity. I try to keep good humidity but sometimes can’t pebble trays work wonders! Also most of mine like medium light. 🥰
fern your hair looks so freaking cute styled like that!!! 😭
I love your Amydrium so much. I have a little two leaf baby. Can't wait until mine grows and fenestrates.
Before I even start the video… welcome back!!!!! Hope you’re feeling better!
Fun video, Fern! This has inspired me to look around at my plants and set some goals. Oh and I love that little peduncle peeking in to your right!
Let’s glow up our warzewiczii together! I’ve brought mine back from the brink a few times and it’s finally getting bigger. Then a cold snap damaged it badly. I think they want a lot more light…I acclimated mine to almost full sun and it did much better for me. I think the secret is light! Any of my prayer types get sad looking I put them outside and they always thrive. Maybe you can put it in your garden this spring?
For the calathea, I have a few and I would recommend hydro setup, my warscewiczii is super big and as I had it in soil it would suffer greatly because the stems are long and the leaves are so heavy it would just bend off, it happened to all my bigger calatheas unfortunately until I got them into hydro, rn they are just straight up in water and the stems are perky and stiff all the time, it also hepls to get a high vessel that can support the plant, like a big ass vase would be ideal!
I feel like they don't like being too wet or too dry, in soil it would always get over and under watered all at the same time… Now it's looking well and stable!
Great to see you again healthy and smiling. And girl… your hair…. STUNNING 😍
Oh, U look like sb/sthg sucked energy out off U :< The shorter hair U wore, the most vibrant U were! <3

Watching Fern (And Many Other Of My PlantTubers Such As Kevin) Helped Me To FALL IN L💚VE With MY LANKY FELL💚W… H💚LES In The Leaves And All!!!
i had a velvet calathea a while ago! it was a good plant- kinda moody for me but it was in regular schmegular indoor potting soil, nothing too fancy, and it did great for me! i think i killed it when i forgot to water it for a month, lol. they dont like sitting in wet/moist soil, but you cant let it be bone dry for longer than 24 hours or it will end its life. at least that was my experience. it likes bright indirect light, but dont put it 2 inches from the bright window bc the leaves will burn. i think thats everything i can remember lol
GIRL! I be getting into them Mixed Pots too!!!! To save space! And I be putting crawlers/vining plant babies into the bases of bigger plants! So fun and so cool!
Thank you for always posting the best content—always so good, fun, entertaining! You got it girl! I love your videos so much. Truly look forward to each video!
P.S. GIRL YOUR SKIN IS BEAUTIFUL—FLAWLESS!!! Lookin like a porcelain doll. Perfection 👌 🤩 😎
I’m very excited about this years planty goals 😊 Specifically the ctenanthe, calathea, and subhastatum. I think it’s so admirable you highlight easily accessible plants and you can see how much you genuinely enjoy growing them 🤍🌱
Hi Fern! 🌿Why do you want to give up on Pon? It is excellent, you can even avoid under watering your plants.
Amydrium is definitely a thirsty genus! Mine was the same but she out grew her pole and she got the chop. But can’t wait to see your update from this in a year!
Agree with other commenters that regular watering is more important than humidity with calathea. My house is currently at 35% and my calathea are all fine. But if I miss a watering, the leaves crisp up. At this point, I have most of them in self watering pots with a mix of Coco coir and perlite. My water is incredibly hard where I live, so I water with distilled water.
Great goals! I am most excited about the Hoya Bella blooms ✨
My goals: silver sword, cebu blue mix on a prunus serrula branch; grow a myriad of strap leaved anthurium on my mother forest; glow up my velvet philodendron especially p verrucosum and place my small vining hoya on 'zen' or children's metal rake heads so they hang uniformly.
im so happy to see you, fern:) i thought i would remind you of the happiness you bring to us🌞
Happy New Year 🎉 I love these goals 💕🥰🥰🥰 from Philippines .
