This video shows how I pruned and tied down the branches on two of my Austrian pine trees. I am training the branches to go horizontally and have poms (or pads) on the ends.

I love this video. You know a lot about Austrian pines. Could you explain briefly what a pine tree's "candles" are and why you trim them? Do you cut off the whole candle?
