Youβre just full of great tips! I love you always share them with usπππ
Thank you so, so much for the project planner workbook – I love it! Greetings from Bergen, Norway – as I sit here knitting <3
I want to do a granny square cardigan. I really like the 3D squares. Can you suggest a place where I can find a pattern?
Great ideas! Happy New Year Aunty E!!!
Ravelry is a great way to organize WIPs, with hook sizes and get due dates on there too. Paper free. Are you on Ravelry?
Omg! I just started using happy planner last year and was looking for something to organize my crocheting. Thank you for the free planner sheets. I canβt wait to get started. I love your channel. β€
Michael's has Happy Planners for 50% off right now..:) Thanks for this Elise! I need to get an HP hole punch! I didn't know there was such a thing. π Tried to get the workbook and all I got was a confirm your email addy email. Nevermind! Got it..:)
Thank you Elise for this great video and the spark I needed to continue my organization mission. I too have been taking inventory of my WIPS and either frogging (UGH) them or noting them; however, your planning sheets will become essential pieces of each project from this day forward. I love being organized as it just makes life a little less messy and who doesn't love a littles less mess. Thank you again for your continued positive and energetic attitude and here's to another great creative year!
I need this! Thank you!
Supeeer! Love it! β€π₯Ί
Gosh how I love this video! I'm a busy homeschooling mom of four, and I just finished my youngest's baby blanket and want to crochet blankets for my older two daughters. Two blankets in a year is daunting for me, but I think planning all this out will give me the confidence to get them done! I plan everything else, so I don't know why it didn't occur to me to plan my crochet. You are brilliant, Elise. Thank you!
I have a basic framework for planning each month. I did a blog post about my January plans…
One item for the #amibookchallenge
Restock one best seller
Pull one skein of yarn from stash and keep making stuff from it until it's gone
Finish off a bag of scrap yarn with fun little projects
Design one project to be posted as a free CAL on my blog, and for sale in my shops
I'm making good progress on my goals so far. Gotta pick up your workbook and one of those Happy Planner punches (yes, I counted…11 holes in the planner π)
Quick question: Did you say you were going to do a tutorial on that square you lost the hook size on? Itβs sooooo gorgeous!!!!
I love happy planner! I got the sewing workbook when it came out last year. I think it was summer. I had already gotten some project pages, so added those to the section I have the pages that came with the sewing. I'm adapting it all for me. I am going to make your list pages work for any of my projects. I like to rotate types of projects and crafts. I will adapt the lists to make a master plan. When I grab a project to work I often don't have my project book with me. So I have learned to add a postit or other paper to the project bag. On that I write the needle or hook size I am using. This is just incase I pull the hook to use elsewhere. I also keep a tool bag for all my tools so they don't get lost. The paper is where I write the last round or row I finished each time I stop working. Also the stitch count in that row. If extra yarn for the project is not in bag I write on the paper where the extra yarn is stored. If I put a project away for awhile I write the storage location on the project page for that project. I have moved and/ or rearranged so many times I have trouble remembering storage locations for this house. I also am learning to update the labels on storage boxes as things are added or removed. I am with on wanting to do better record keeping and planning this year. I also frankenplan in my main planner. So I will put the working project lists in a section of my main planner. It stays with me much more than my project book. I'm so pleased to see your cheerful face!
I love using The Happy Planner too! I have a Classic sized (vertical layout) for personal and a Big Teacher Planner for my piano studio. Love the disk bound system too, and how customizable they are! Your crochet/knit planner inserts look amazing!
Thank you Elise, this is all so helpful. I always start good the beginning of the year, than after a while I let it slip . I am determined to follow true this whole year β€
Merci merci
Thank you for the wonderful planners! so kind!
Elise, thank you so much for sharing this. It's so pretty! I just ordered my Happy Journal this morning after watching your video. Took a look at The Island Stroll CAL too. If I lived to be a million years old I don't think there would be enough time to finish what I have started and what I want to do!
Thank you so much for recording this video and for the very generous planner. I have it saved on my iPad and plan on using this to help me get organized! I just canβt seem to finish things in a timely fashion and this may help! Thank you!
I need this journal. One for crocheting and one for knitting.
I am going to TRY this.
What size Happy Planner does the WIPs workbook fit into?
Thanks for sharing! β€ππ
I don't plan a project. I make things and put them in a tote, that way when a birthday, baby shower, etc comes, I go to my tote and pick something out. Life happens and I don't promise something that I havenβt made. I don't get patterns and buy yarn. I look at my yarn and look for something to make. People know I do crochet and I inherited other's left over yarn. I don't mind, it makes me creative.
Such a great planner design!! πποΈππ»
I very much enjoyed this. So glad you put this togetherβ€οΈ A crocheter can never have too many planners πβ€
Oh you're so clever πππ I need you sat by me Elise… You know I'm that person who wants to learn ALL the crafts π€£π€£π
Elise, I remember you working on the Island Stroll when you went on vacation to an island. You show a closeup, maybe you'd recognize the hook? My hooks are all different colors, but not sure about yours. Hope that helps. This year I want to get the hook size clips to put on a WIP so I don't lose that info. There are some beautiful ones on Etsy. Love your YouTube.
I have been inspired by you! I am making first bitty bunnies.
I have looked for the hook by furls out out of stock. So I am using a yarnology hook and it's best so far.
I am 70 and have crochet blankets. A few clothing items. I just made a dozen neck warmer s and ear headband all gifts.
I recently made several baby items. I love the challenge and process. I haven't learned to knit don't know how to even start.
Thanks for the inspiration.

Hi there I liked this video and subscribed today. I entered my email on the subscribe list on the website link. Is that How I get the digital planner pages?
Thank you!
Thanks again for this video. I spent time this afternoon getting my craft plan set up and written out. I wrote out a page that lists what each step of the plan is. I included where the pages for each part of the plan are located. Some are in my project notebook, and some are in my 2023 year planner. I still have lots of work to do on my project pages, but that is an ongoing effort. I'm making sure to write up pages for each new project. As I get an older project out, I want to make a page for it. I am also going through former efforts to start project notebooks as I find them to add those to the new happy planner notebook. I didn't do any stickers or decorations today. I can add those as the desire arises. I feel more organized than I did last fall.
I canβt count how many times Iβve put down a project and forgot what hook size I was using for it π
Thank you π
Ooh that's a video that I've been waiting for someone to do it and give me those brilliant idea π‘ you're the discovery of 2023 ! Thank you for sharing βΊοΈ
Hey there!! I was just wondering if you sell toys that are made from someone else's pattern? I've had so many ppl ask me to sell some of the Ami I've made, but I'm never sure if I'm even allowed or what is required of me to do so. Thanks, ππ
Sending you a big hug for this new year. Thank you for this workbook, it's perfect β€οΈ

Great video! Thanks for the free planner! I need this to help me organize and keep myself in check. I can't seem to find the link to the "Honey, get control of your WIPs"… am I missing it somehow?
People PLAN their projects? Doesn't everyone just see something, start a project, then put it on "I have to finish it" pile? Like me? π
