  1. If I propagate my monstera, will it start back over and have to mature again or will it continue the process of aging before cutting?

  2. Time and again, when I watch your videos, I am struck by just how lovely your demeanor and sense of empathy communicate.

Lots of people have plant knowledge they could share, but most don't have your soothing presence to make it such a pleasant experience.

Thank you for being who you are and sharing your presence with us.

Best wishes to you and all your plants! 🪴💕

  3. Thanks !!! was repotting yesterday and was questioning if I was putting my plowmanii and and chiapense to deep 😂 I'm not going to panic but I'm going to take a second 👀

  4. I received a solitary cutting of a Monstera Deliciosa in a plant swap a few months ago. I did bury the stem when I potted it, and it has since just sat there in the pot, neither growing nor dying.
My actual question is: should I repot it with the stem above the soil, or would it be better to repot the plant correctly? I'm still a little unclear on this point.

  5. I love this style of video! So many topics and educational. ♥️

I didn’t know about the evaporation rate of different pots. I think I’ll put my little money tree that has buds in the trunk but won’t grow into a small terracotta pot. Perhaps the plant wants constant moisture as it’s trying to establish strong roots and new stems and leaves.🤷🏿‍♀️ we shall see.

    Thanks for the idea 🪴

  6. Bro I have a question

I have monstera that I repotted I purchased if from lowes they cut some of the leaves off that we're damaged BUT the plant is still creating jew leaves

But the cut stems are starting to turn yellow and die
I just wanted to make sure this wouldn't effect my seems that are still healthy?

  7. by the time I watched the 10th video I realized I forgot to subscribed. That's proves you always have my full attention.

  8. I'm propagating two different type's of plants in a amber colored bottle and the water gets very stinky I rinsed everything but it keeps on getting stinky. should I be worried they only have few roots.

  9. it is so reassuring to watch your videos and they are very helpful! Lately I've really started to get involved with my plants thanks to your videos and it's starting to become a jungle at home 😃🌹

  10. Separating roots, and even better cutting from top to bottom on pot bound roots is very important on woody and long lived plants. Without doing so the roots can end up girdling each other and killing the plant. Always important to do on trees, but likely monstera or similar would not end up living long enough for it the be a big issue.

  11. im looking forward to your video on thrips. im currently at war with them and loosing hard

  12. I love the disclaimer at the beginning that you don't automatically have to run and repot your monstera.

  13. I recently found your channel and I'm loving you videos! My plant collection is starting to take shape (got 31 plats so far) and your videos are very helpful to take care of them 🙂

  14. Do u recommend to cut the long long Arial roots of the monstera deliciosa? (it's in smart pot with pon)

  15. Have you ever tried growing plants out of an aqrum like a riparium. tried it once results are amazing! grew a pothos, swis cheese plant, red polcadot plant and spide plants. all the plants where doing great all where growing a new leave each week because the humidity was high light was bright and the fish poop fertalized the plant +the water was warm simulating spring. may be you should try it !

  16. Can you do a plant tour video sometime? I would love to see all the plants you have (especially your rarer plants) and your setup (specifically your grow lights setup). Love your videos!

  17. great video (: thanks for sharing your plant wisdom! looking forward to the thrip video. as my collection grows I'm finding myself running into some pests i've never dealt with before even with an entomology background. thrips are definitely a new one. i think i may have brought them in from outside… oops

  18. Hey!! I've been watching your videos as I just started my indoor plant collection. I decided to save the plants that were at a grocery store outside before a freeze. I now have 7 new plants I'm learning about. Of course, with sick plants comes bugs.
So here is my question. I have two pots of monsteras that I need to repot. They also have aphids. Should I repot them after a treatment for aphids? How many should I put in one pot? They are all different sizes and some have larger spaces between nodes. Also, my kids have helped tear some of the leaves apart 🤦‍♀️ they have new growth but aphids are finding the new leaves!
I love your channel and will be making a moss pole for them when I repot them. Thanks for all your help!

  19. I cannot praise your work more, you're just my favorite "plantuber" out there (along with the Leca Queen and Sheffield Plants – guess that's his name, a guy who mentioned your work in his video)!!

  20. Two of my beautiful deliciousas rotted even though I only buried the roots. I think it was the pot. I used a deep glazed ceramic pot that I watered a lot. I was so upset but it is only a plant and I will purchase mor when they come back out during the summer season.
