This was a very triggering story!
IMO, it's important to run a background check on your significant other if you decided to spend the rest of your life with them. Having a slight doubt is not a bad thing, it's just being cautious.

Reiko just wanted the money and didn’t care if the family went down, but after Kosuke showed that video of her basically outlining her plan, everything went downhill for her. Well, she basically said she didn’t need her family, so she can get out of her financial nightmare mess on her own since the family essentially disowned her.
Kosuke hopefully will maintain a more stable life and may be able to expand things if that trial date with Chizuru goes well

Wow! Reiko is a total monster here! She was willing to let her mother die so she could marry a rich guy. I'm willing to bet that, if she had simply explained things to them, they might have been ok with her situation, and might have even offered to help. But no, she decided to abandon her sick mom and her hard-working brother. Well, she got what she deserved in the end. And hey, Kousuke seems to be on the way to a happy ending himself, so good for him!

Kosuke was a blessed man. He was surrounded by his loving parents and a true friend in Sho and a future wife in Chizuru.
Reiko has no one else to blame but herself trying to disown Kosuke and their own mother after their dad died but thanks to his friend's sho they got plenty of evidence for her fiance to see just how much of a horrible person she is maybe she might learn a little bit of something after being disowned herself to be a better person but it's a good thing Kosuke and Chizuru are going out so that's a plus. 🥰

You know, as a brother and breadwinner he should have more power and more authority in controlling his family's finances since he is the one his late dad put all of his inheritance money given to. He could have said no to his sister all the time if he wanted to. But as his friend has said, MC is being too nice despite how awful of a jerk his sister was to him all these years.
But yes, good thing he realized that she has crossed that line by trying to cut ties with her family and insulted their mom so that she could "spend time" with her "husband" for the rest of her life just because he's rich. Good thing he recorded a video of them to show her real attitude and showed how much of a jerk she really is.
Well, there really isn’t much for me to say other than the fact that Reiko brought this whole calamity upon herself and she’s got no one to blame but herself for being as selfish as she was. Perhaps this disastrous experience will be enough teach her some humility and respect instead of being selfish 24/7.

Good story but Reiko forgot to apologize to her brother Kosuke for being mean and cruel to him and for lying to her ex-fiancee and his family. That's the only thing that was missing: the apology. But even if she apologize to her brother, she still not forgiven for what she did. Now she has to work hard all day long while living poor. That's what she gets for treating her brother bad.
