January is the perfect time to make adjustments to your backyard garden. You can move it altogether, add new growing spaces, adjust beds that didn’t work well in the previous growing season, add trellises and many other options. The sky is the limit. Come March and April you will want to be planting and not doing these tasks. This month I am completely moving my zone 9 Louisiana garden. I can’t wait to 10X my growing space! What do you get done in your garden in January?

  1. Was driving home Sunday and turned around when I saw the seed swap sign. I’m excited about other events the group will be having. Can I trade you a few hours of helping you move your garden in exchange for help putting up my cow panel trellis?
