  1. I just put in the tomatoes, Brussels, broccoli, peppers, onions and lettuces in the garden here in cocoa.

  2. I started to sow seeds indoor. I live in zone 8, northwest Florida. I’m jealous, I don’t like cold. It’s currently 40 this morning

  3. Planted lettuces, carrots, green onion, peas, radish directly into the beds. Covered with clear plastic tarp as it is still kind of chilly here in Polk City. We'll see how it works. Onward we go. 😊

  4. Thanks for this- the Christmas freeze took out a big chunk of my winter garden in The Panhandle. I've got the seeds, just can't stand looking at my burnt down scene…

  5. Great video. Starting new beds is expensive but hey it has to be done. I moved to Avon Park (Sebring) in Aug and hurried to get beds set up for growing a fall garden. I bought their homemade potting soil. I wish our county had a soil program like Tampa. I have a small fortune in soil. I could not fine potatoes anywhere at this time. They all slot to ship in spring. I had red potatoes left over from last location I lived and they are going nuts in the bed now. I will have lots and lots of reds. I have 252 Sq ft if raised beds and wish I had room for more.

  6. The dollar tree has packs of seeds 4 for $1. I've never been so early in the season to get them, I actually got desirable varieties and even some herbs! Cheapest deal around for new gardeners, there's not much to lose to get it planted and see what happens.
