Zone 6 (Chicago, IL, USA)
Hey there! In addition to the front yard garden, we have 7 raised garden beds in the backyard. In this video I share a tour of the backyard garden in October! Here in Chicago/zone 6a, I’m just less than 3 weeks from our anticipated first frost and I still have tomatoes, peppers, winter squash, kale, lettuce, collards and more growing!
Thanks for watching!

  1. I live in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and have really enjoyed your videos this year! Your tomatoes and peppers are my favorite. Would to to see what you do with the peppers.

  2. Nice video. I’m happy to follow someone also in the Chicagoland area. Btw, The temps are probably going to drop to the upper 30s for at least two nights in the next week. We might get an early frost. 👎🏽
