8:28 Just get yourself an inexpensive garbage can $9 at Walmart for a rain barrel..they work great.
You guys are so doing so awesome, nice and Busy Dumpster diving can be alot of fun, and profitable….I got 3 xbox's with scratches… ( that work perfectly, from our local electronics garbage bin and other items….. and sold them and bought cedar lumber with the cash..it is very profitable.
That is some great finds. I planted garlic in pots Feb. 23 and they are doing good. I have raised beds my husband made from privacy fence boards that were given to us and I am planting in pots/containers from the thrift store and kitty litter jugs I cut the tops off of. And a friend gave me pallets to sit the pots up on. I did buy 2 blue food grade 55 gal food grade barrels off Walmarts site cut 1 in 1/2 and planted potatoes.
I am new to your site and I have enjoyed watching your videos. I like the way you plan and implement your projects. You have great ideas and you do a really good job. I enjoy your sweet family. Look forward to more
You will love the mini oil ones, they are are not as bright but they are nice for small rooms and carrying around. The chimneys for them are almost impossible to find because it seems no company makes that size oil lamp anymore. Funny thing is, I put together a video on this very thing last week, still have not put it up yet but will have to do so soon since garage sale season is coming!
I love all the random things you all have hoarded. We are the same way. We do have a light saber somewhere also but not a box of them, lol. We need to declutter badly. Hopefully someday but you always think to yourself "but I may need that one day". I need to stick with the rule of thumb if you haven't used it in a year donated it or toss it. I love the story of how Ashley found the garlic. It makes me think back to your 30 random facts when you explored abandoned buildings. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Ashley, I dig bulldoze properties too but I like to hunt for old roses. It is so sad when those are just yanked and thrown in the dump! My heart breaks.
I am going thru some of your older videos and I cannot believe how much your life resembles mine during the 1980's. I had two daughters at that time and used to drive around when the village had their annual trash day. Collected a lot of stuff, lumber, electric lawn mower, saloon style doors, etc. In 1989 I got a new job and my supervisor and I were talking about trash days and it turns out I had trash picked the saloon doors from in front of his house. Small World, Huh.
Those sumac trees are invasive! I get more and more every year and can't get rid of them!! If there's even a small piece of root left in the ground, 10 more grow it's place! Do you have sumacs in FL?
