After 20 years roofing its nice to see other trades saying gutter guards are a scam. They are lies on top of lies, never once did I come across one that actually worked and can't count how many times I was paid to remove the shity products and repair water damage from these products left

Gutter guards suck ๐ Iโve thrown so many away for customers
Now that you have gutter guards, you now have to do extra work or buy specific equipment to secure a ladder. Iโve seen plenty of jobs where the gutter guard is either bent in a way to allow a bungie or hook to attach to the nail inside the gutter, or disassembled where the ladder m is going. And the amount of roofs in the PNW that have a small garden growing out of the damn gutter.
No ladder ever but requires ladder to maintain and keep warranty, yah that's national news scam level.
They donโt work at all I still have to get up on the ladder and hose the layer of crap that sits on the top otherwise the whole front of the house is a water fall
There junk anyways , we clean them out so much it's rediculous !!!!! Gutter guard is junk !!!!

Gutters are a hard to install properly and most of the time end up leaving rotten overhangs . Proper foundations and extra wide overhangs are my recommendation. I hate gutters , for the most part they are only trouble. Almost ever house in the south ends up with 20 to 30 % rotten overhangs 15 years after installing gutters . Roofers can cause part of that because if they donโt run the bottom run double with the first layer up side down , and step them half over each other the keys will leak and rot the facer board . Proper installation is a must and there are to many people that just donโt care out there in this big world .
