Hydrogen peroxide and soapy water delivered with a spray bottle!
A greenhouse would put a halt to 90% of crawler-critter damage.
Refrigerator door moisture is merely condensation – no worries.
Plant catnip; the cats will hang out there and leave all the other plants alone UNLESS they are using the dirt for a potty, in which case two half-moons of hardware cloth lying on the surface will stop that.
Moles & voles: Disconnect the hose from your LP gas BBQ and put it into the (dug up) tunnel and run some propane in it. Propane is heavier than air and displaces all their oxygen.
DO NOT LIGHT IT!
I know it's tempting, but I did it once and believe me, you don't want to go there.
Get a monkey. It'll pick those bugs off and eat them all up. 🤓
So sorry about your pepper plants being attacked by aphids. Hope they come back for you in spring. Can't think of a better place to watch the birds than from the canopy of a swing.
I only have a very small garden, front and back of my house and every year, have a battle on my hands with aphids, ants and wood lice. Oh and also rabbits. I had some success last year with the ants…. not in decreasing their numbers, but in getting them to move further from my home.
I tried to grow some cauliflower, last 2 years, which ended up looking more like triffids. 🤣
Those aphids….. they don't take long to take hold, do they. Ruined my Lupins, but I managed to save my roses…. eventually.
I do hope you got to the aphids in time. It looks like you did. At least you saved a good few peppers.
I think it might be less trouble and expense to bag up the old pepper plants and start new ones for spring.
I get same thing iny little greenhouse every year. I spray with warm soapy water with a tad of alcohol. So far every year for over 10 I've dealt with it.

Do you know the story of the Aphids & the ants? This video reminded me of the story. Prophet J.Kleck taught his church about it. The Aphids are the workers (slaves) for the ants because the ants need the Aphids to survive to feed them. The moral of the story is that all of us on this earth were carried away to Earth by Lucifer/ Satan because he tricked the Lord's angels to believe that they can have a host body (flesh & blood), have sex, multiply and never die. There is a lot more to this story and I'm not the teacher. The Lord God Almighty anointed a man name Jonathan Kleck to be His prophet here on earth just as He had prophets that were on earth when they wrote down what the Lord had them write through His Holy Spirit for the Holy Bible in their time before they left this earth. If you or anyone wants to learn the truth of what the Holy Bible really is saying then pray and asked the Lord then go and watch videos on kleckfiles dot com and see if the Lord allows to know the truth cuz not everyone he calls on if you don't believe the truth when you hear it. He knows every heart & soul because He created us as His angels in heaven and we on earth turned against Him in heaven and we all were exiled with Lucifer as Revelation 12: 7-9 tells us so.
