We have started our homework for the next animal we would like to add to our homestead, any advice you have from experience is welcomed! We asked some people that have been raising sheep what things we need to know about raising sheep on a small homestead. It was interesting to hear different aspect of raising sheep and why they wanted to raise them.

Hi ! Happy New Year! What a great video and interview. I'm curious which of the larger animals you'll be bringing onto your homestead in the near future. I prefer lamb, myself, only because I love lambchops if I had to choose which one I'd eat. Before your video, I never knew not all sheep have wool, and some have hair.
This will be fun to see where you go from here now.
If you rotational graze you won't need to deworm
Have y'all thought about maybe miniature cows they don't require as much land they don't eat as much and their meat is just as good as a regular size cow and there's several different kinds of miniature cows just something to think about also I love y'all's videos
Great look at the research you two are making before investing in sheep. Reaching out to experienced shepherds has to alleviate a lot of your own concerns with that learning curve, Mrs. NG mentioned.
