  1. Excellent video! Beautiful specimen maples captured on camera probably doesn’t even do them Justice being there in real
life. Thanks for the awesome content y’all consistently put out for all of us. Y’all are the best!!! #bestinthebusiness #japanesemaples

  2. The nishiki gawa is oh so amazing!🔥. If you flip the ryusen to is side it looks like a haduken with all the colors going on and the OSakazuki Matt hit it on the money with it being perfect at one thing so now osakazuki is aka Steve Kerr to me😂. Love the content🤩🐐. #japanesemaples❤️🍁🔥.

  3. Kiyohime here in Seattle is very prone to breakage when it's covered with snow. Great tree anyway!

  4. You two make the Dream Team of the MrMaple Show. I would love to watch more episodes with the two of you in tandem. You have a lively conversation going.

  5. That Kiyohime is outstanding! Love the walkthroughs of mature specimens, definitely would like to see the same trees in the other seasons, too.

  6. Matt & Bryon, we thoroughly enjoyed your visit to MapleWalk. It's so much fun to walk around with other "maple nuts!"
Thank you for the flattering comments. We are blushing!
My wife, Lib Jones and I garden in Zone 8a. We look forward to your return visit in the spring. We might be able to lure you back to Charlotte even sooner as the Charlotte Camellia Society holds their annual event at MapleWalk in February. Gorgeous blooms on display as well as the opportunity to see our collection of these underutilized evergreen beauties.

  7. Happy new year! Beautiful trees especially the Seiryu in your past videos. I have been planning to get one for my backyard. However i recently read that squirrels tend to go for Japanese maples’ barks. The damage they cause can seriously harm and even kill some branches. There are some squirrels that visit my backyard daily. So I’m wondering if this should dissuade me from planting jms. Some advice is greatly appreciated. I’ve been searching for substitute trees but it seems that none can match the beauty of Japanese maples. Thanks.

  8. Bre Arthur did a walkthrough tour of MapleWalk Garden about 3 weeks ago on her Youtube channel too. Amazing garden! Shows what you can achieve with your garden with good planning and enough time. Definitely a garden that deserves to be better known! Thanks for highlighting some of the wonderful JM specimens they have in their garden.
