Hi, we are Harriet and Mauro and in February 2021 we bought an abandoned smallholding in Castellón, Spain. In these videos we share our life as we restore and improve our little stone house, learn to grow and preserve our own food, and bring our 4 acres of farmland back to productivity.

If you enjoy the videos we make and are looking for a way to say a quick thanks for the work that goes into making them, here is a way for you to make a one-off donation 🥰:

  2. Happy new year to you both! Really hope 2023 brings you all you want to achieve and you have fun along the way doing it:)

  3. You have achieved so much you should both be proud of yourselves. I think it’s an amazing thing to do quite an adventure. You are obviously virtually self sufficient which is such an achievement. It’s good to have goals and a vision so you keep up the momentum. I am watching as I love to follow your progress. Just don’t take on too much so as to overwhelm yourselves especially you Harriet. Happy new year to you both xxxx💜💜💜

  4. Happy new year, your lives have changed so much in 2022 and it sounds like 2023 is lined up for lots more change too if your main plan comes to fruition! Looking forward to seeing what you build this year and have learned so much from your goat and chicken builds thanks for sharing 🙂

  5. I have just recently stumbled over your channel and have since watched almost all videos. I find them truly inspiring and motivating! Thank you so much for this insight of your interesting life. I will definitely keep following your journeys and try to be more active with my garden as well!
I wish you a happy new year and lots of great adventures for 2023!

  6. SO nice! You did a great job, both years! Very inspiring! I wish i will find the courage to start something like this! Keep up the good work! Greetings from Greece!☺

  8. Happy New Year to you both! Lovely to see your project blooming this past year and that when you have a dream, despite adversity, nothing can stop you! Staying tuned for 2023! 🙂

  12. Love your channel. Discovered it a few months ago after hurting my back shifting stone, so gorged myself and lived vicariously through your labour's.. Harriet you make me laugh often as I relate so well to some of your mistakes. I have loved my goats and milking, some days it seems horribly arduous but once I'm with them all is well. Thanks for sharing your story…I'm 7 years in and your story has helped to realize how much work and problem solving the process is. Often I can be self critical at not doing certain things faster or more successfully. Have a great 2023!

  13. Happy New Year. Wishing you well in your lovely but hardworking lifestyle. Love how well you compliment each other. Magnificent spread of produce and livestock. We are all learning through your practice. Looking foward to the baby building project this year.
