no rats in mine the cat next door will make sure of that.
They can live in my compost. ♥️ rats are adorable.I made a small wood pile with branches and mud along the back fence. The wildlife stay there and don't bother anyone or anything. I dump food every night in the den. There's groundhogs, skunks, possums, raccoons, garden and brown snakes and some kind of big mice with no ears. They all stay in the back and leave my garden alone because I grow the weak seedlings in a row, in front of the den,so they have their own garden and leave mine alone.
In the woods I grow watermelons and pumpkins for the deer.
Living in harmony with nature sure beats living in constant stress trying to eradicate these creatures.
P.S.- they all love peanut butter sandwiches and cat food.
What do we do to get rid of the rats and keep the compost?
I think I saw a dead baby bird in the compost 😐
