I have never tried this before, but couldn’t pass up the opportunity to try!!

Here are the steps I used to root a Christmas tree:

You will need to start with a tree cutting or a small tree sapling. Here’s a simple method you can follow:

First, sterilize your cutting tool by wiping it down with rubbing alcohol. This will help prevent the spread of diseases.

Take a cutting from the tree you want to propagate, making sure it has at least one set of leaves. The cutting should be about 6 inches long.

Remove the lower leaves from the cutting, leaving just the top set of leaves intact.

Dip the cut end of the tree cutting into rooting hormone, which will help encourage root growth.

Fill a small pot with a mixture of peat moss and perlite or vermiculite. Moisten the mixture before planting the cutting. ( I used Tree Root Growing Box, Rooting Ball Grafting Tools https://amzn.to/3WYosCH)

Plant the cutting in the pot, making sure the remaining leaves are above the soil line.

Water the cutting well and place it in a location that gets indirect sunlight.

Keep the soil moist, but not waterlogged, and provide the cutting with indirect sunlight. It may take several weeks or even months for roots to form.

When the cutting is well rooted and has started to grow, it can be transplanted into a larger pot or planted in a permanent location in your garden.

I hope this helps! If you have any questions or need further guidance, just let me know.
