We took a break up in Sydney and our first stop was the royal botanic garden where we did a bushfoods tour. It was wonderful seeing the australian native food forest that was there as it was large and established, full of australian bushfoods. But what surprised me was their addition of what one of the first european settlements in australia and their farms would have looked like in comparison
Australian native food forest vs first european farm was an interesting contrast.

Didn't know macadamia grew down there. Every botanical gardens should have an aboriginal garden. That would be something I would like to see.
Bus is getting closer. They are lovely gardens. Your pipes you have planted has given me an idea.
The gardens looked really beautiful. Nice lizard. Yay to the tanks. I didn’t know you could de-pip a cherry. I just had a cherry tree gifted to me so I she’ll have to remember that. The Berns look great. Nice harvest. Hope the Christmas season is going well for you both. Take care.
I love botanical gardens!
