Good for you…I lost my jujubee last winter and am still undecided if I want to replace it or not. I'm sure it will perk up with some TLC …
What variety jujubee is it? There is a smaller fruit variety and a larger fruit variety..I think the variety was on the tag but I couldn't see it clearly
Awesome, I recently received about 80 jujube seeds from a guy on facebook and i hope to use them as rootstock and graft known jujube varieties on it in the coming years.
I'm so excited for you. The excitement you have is coming thru the video 💚
Hi, I have a Honey Jar variety aswell, mine hasn't fruited yet but I heard it's a pretty good quality of fruit and sweet. The one thing I know is this tree is really hardy, it can take the heat and the cold so you dont have to worry about much protection, good luck with it!
Omgosh I been wanting this since Jake Mace hahaha. Now you have it. Blessings
I have not heard of this tree before. Tfs
Lol nice Waba Waba Waba lol hey becareful some varieties has thrones
Dang you are seriously putting food everywhere you can lol
I'm excited for you 😀 Im looking to add a white sapote to my collection. My wife think I'm nuts
I've heard about this tree good for you….got question for you …I see that you have a mason bee house how do you attract the bees to it …I'm assuming that you know something about it because of the success you have in your backyard….I would appreciate the advice Diana…have a great evening
What a wonderful gift. Before you transplant it. Check and see if you can get a tree box for it. The kind you see in nurseries. This will give you the ability to move it if you need to and all the room needed for the tree to grow and produce fruit. Remember don't park it to close to the house or you will have to move it again when it is bigger and heavier. 🙂
My parents have a couple of these jujube trees. Two different varieties, but don’t know the names. The fruit one is round about the size of a small plum. The other fruit is the size of a grape tomato. The round one taste better.
These trees are very easy to grow and not really any pests. Squirrels do eat them though.
What my parents do with the extra fruit is to put some in refrigerator, they can store for probably a month in there. The rest they steam for about 20 minutes, then dehydrate.
The fruit is pretty nice and sweet. I was able to get a few seeds sprout. The variety that grows here produce a much smaller fruit and the flavor is more stronger at least to me. I have mines in some Wendy 's cups at the moment and I give it a dose of fish emulsions.
Hello! 👍 Nice Video!
I was just looking this tree up and I learned that the fruit dehydrated taste wonderful. Good luck with your tree.
How is the jujube doing?
I will add this to my collection. You got blessed big time.
first time I.tried jujube is in vietnam as a plant and fruit lover that was a eureka moment.. I was hooked but seems hard to procure in Philippines.
☺️
Just wanted to let you know that I'm a new Jujube fruit tree guy and any info on growing and caring for them is very appreciated. Thanks for sharing.
I have a Sugar Cane Jujube tree, oh they are extremely SWEET! Its like 5yrs and been giving me tons and tons of fruits. Unlike the Li Jujube, which are kinda bland and big fruits, these sugar cane variety are sweet and medium size.
Search it, before you buy a Jujube.
Another one is the G686 variety….with big fruits and delicious.
Here is my Sugar Cane Jujube tree…5-6yrs old.
