Someone recommended these to me in consultation once! 🤪 Planning on installing a few in the spring.
This looks like a great option for my front yard under some crepe myrtles. If I am willing to water them regularly the first year do you think they would do well under these established trees? Raleigh 7b
To reduce drought stress would it be better to plant these in the fall? Also, how does this compare to Cephalotaxus harringtonia 'Golden Dragon'? (Probably Yewtopia would be better in a shady location as the GD would not color up?)
I planted 2 of these last season and plan to get more. Deer and rabbits have really left them alone.
Mine don’t like deep shade much. They just exist. Half day sun they do much better. cephalotaxus drupacea is another nice plum yew.
