I would’ve touched more specifically on ppfd numbers for dense buds
Led's are not more intense than HID – they are brighter, big difference. For best results, but not the best electrical efficiency, run (vertical lamp) HID at about 70% of total light and full spectrum LED for the other 30% — this grows dank, sticky, strong weed each and every time. I see that AC Infinity have realized there is a market for this and released supplemental Led's for grow tents, following what Secret Jardin did a few years ago. Led's grow healthy plants, HID grow potent plants, mix them together to grow healthy, potent plants.

legacy british columbia weed pirate here. I was a significant supplier to a entire town back in my hay day and i can tell you from my customer feed back that no one liked dense buds because the bags looked really small and when cutting up the buds for rolling you got 2 joints from a gram, whereas a fluffy bud bag people loved it when they would get 6 joints from a gram.

Bud density… I’m using Nectar for the Gods nutrients the herculean Harvest is a liquid bone meal I believe it helps with making rocks. I recently used a product FlaVUH (expensive!) I used it week 1-5 of flower on an Ethos xxx and the buds came out by far more dense than previous harvests on the same strain. FlaVUH can also GREATLY increase density. I’m not trying to promote it just saying what happened on my recent grow. Cheers y’all ! ✌️

I have heard thay spraying the buds once a week with aspirin water (1 asprin dissolved in 1 gallon of water) will have an effect on buds. Not sure if it is density, tricomb quality, overall health, or something else. Would love to hear your thoughts.

Dense buds is genetics ….year ago i had one plant from seed that looked by structure like mostly sativa ….untill she started flowering ….densest tight kinda buds i've seen, with loong hairs looked different ….but high and smell was not satisfying and potency at between 10-15%? …thought about croosing her with some too strechy transparent sativa buds ''strains'' i have, that smell nice and kick ass, but better to cross that nice smely with strong 80-90% hybrids indica males and even uplift potency together with dencity then to drop it down because of bud density ….i've put that last clone plant of dense one outside, into ground under some polinating male plant to produce seeds but hmm accident happenned and that herbs there got cut down somehow …so it wasnt ment to be for that plant ….but it produced few seed in first flowering accidentaly with exelent skunky lemon candy 3 males i hade last year, and i have no clue where i've put seeds …..that is
