Work-from-home mother, homeschooling and homesteading on 4 acres, growing vegetables, and flowers. I love home and the old-fashioned values of years gone by!
Earlier this spring before the leaves even had a chance to bud out on all of the trees, my custom designed garden shed was delivered. Tucked under some big old trees, with a view that over looks the garden, sunsets, beehives and cattle grazing, a gardening dream had come true.
Built with extra windows, my garden shed is a small size of 8×12 with a quiant little porch just big enough for a rocking chairs and a few accessories.
Just months ago, this area was a blank slate in our backyard, with only a grassy surface to place the shed.
I have spent hours, planting and designing the exterior of the garden shed to create a cozy welcoming space. It’s a place to rest after hours spent watering the garden or plucking weeds from the ground.
Mornings are glorious out here. I head out early while the majority of my family is still asleep, coffee in hand and the cat usually at my feet. Some mornings I sit in the old chippy rocker and watch the birds while they sing and work.
Some mornings, I get right to work before the heat of the day. I water the garden, and in this video I put the Zinnia seeds in the ground for late summer or early fall blossoms.
Evenings are just as grand as mornings. The sunsets are beautiful as the sun goes down over the hillside and the day comes to a close.
The garden shed is useful for holding tools, old clay pots, and beekeeping supplies, but it also provides a restful space to relax, surrounded by beauty in nature.
I hope you enjoy this glimpse into the exterior of my garden shed. For all the details and Garden Shed Decorating Ideas please visit: https://www.rockyhedgefarm.com/garden-shed-decorating-ideas/
