Someone has taken them an animal wouldn’t take every alternative plant. What a shame. Hope you don’t have any more hassles.
I know you’re busy but, if you have a chance at some point, I would love a video on “dirt work” planning. I wouldn’t know where to begin. Thanks so much! Love your videos! I only watch you now, not the Crockers. You are so down to earth. Keep up the good work! Stay safe.
Your truck looks great!
Morning Jared
Your property is looking better everytime I see it
Keep up your hard work
Hey Jared why don’t you see if the county will bring you a load of clay that away you can use that to line the bottom of your pond to seal it off so it will hold water.
When you say Willow, is that Wheeping Willow? Not sure I spelled it right. LOL
Greetings Jared, hope you had an enjoyable Christmas and will have a Happier New Year.
Good to see you getting at the progress of the land development. I did not know clay was a good base for holding water. It's hard to dig through. Lol….
It's a shame the privacy wall won't do much against the traffic noise.
Keep doing You !!!
Best Regards TTFN Cheers 💜
Hey Jared , are trying to lose weight like Matt? Curious, mystery of the missing willows. Nice film crew 😊 LoL (hey Matt)
Nice looking truck and liking the new chest cam, leaves your hands free , good for solo filming. They should do well in water under cover. Peace ✌🏾🕊️
Willow water.. is a potent starter ok so pour that in with your Mimosa starts. They'll take off then.
Love the truck 💕
Good job kiddo – you should have a lot coverage once they grow up and out – enjoyed the video – have a great week !!!
Truck be looking GOOD !
Love the progress!
😊
Channel is growing fast j! 100k b4 the new year!
Hey Jared how are you? Been a while since i been on your channel did u move back to TX?
Planting willows tightly and cutting/pruning them strategically yields useful materials and a more dense fence-like screen. Search the practice of "pollarding". You can use the willow whips/cuttings for weaving baskets, fences, rooves, and a whole host of other things.
The fact that every other one is missing from your plantings seems . . . . less like wildlife or a natural occurrence.
I'm a little worried about you being out there alone these days. My south Texas relatives have told me some stories about what things are like on their farms and ranches lately. Strangers prowling around all hours. livestock butchered in the pastures. Clothing left lying around, and not the kinds of things you'd see normally. I think you know what I'm talking about. Stay strapped and be aware, please. Desperate folks do desperate things.
Best wishes from north Texas.
Merry Chistmas, Happy New Year. Love willow trees but they could drain your pond if to close they love love water. roots from all trees can cause your ponds to fail if planted to close making holes in your pond walls. Have a great new year
Why willows. In Illinois we consider them nuisance I know you want privacy. Why not Rose of Sharon. They come in many colors.
Nope, i think human. Yard looking awesome. You are so cool, this is why we love you. Stay safe.
AWESOME WORK ON YOUR TRUCK. I love it and all your videos.
Gophers love new cuttings!!
Just a suggestion, I'd go ahead and put in the pond liner now. It will save a lot of time and energy. It will also give clearer water. I don't know about you, but I don't like doing things twice lol
Damn, you're rocking that tractor! Watching this Texas man work makes me think of the song by Jordan Davis and Luke Bryan (yes, you look like Luke!) "Buy Dirt" 🎶🎸🎶…..about putting your roots into the dirt around you, set a foundation and building a family to make memories with.
The willow canes usually are taken by animals for gnawing benefits but every other one is weird. I would think the dirt would show some kind of tracks to determine what or who happened in the area. Time to set up cameras until you're fenced.
The truck is going to be a beast when you're finally done…cars will quickly change lanes to let you by! 👍 💕🇺🇸💕
If I remember right , my Dad had problems with Willow roots clogging our big pipes in the basement. So , I 'd watch where you plant the Willows. 😉
Merry Christmas Jared. The truck is looking fab keep doing what ur doing looking good x
It has occurred to me how many people want to homestead but will not be able to buy large properties. You can really show people how much can be done on smaller footprints. It's very inspiring.
Awesome job on the truck
I like the chest mount, reminds me of a first person shooter game.
Another old lady here. Jared says old people watch him, but he loves us all. He is my favorite as far as I am concerned. I do like the other brother Matt that you don't see very often. I think he goes fishing a lot. He's a nice guy too.
Jared works very hard and his mom and dad can be very proud of him. I wish him the best. I can't understand why some young girl hasn't snatched him up. He'd be a good one to catch. He may have one leg, but he must run pretty fast. Jared slow down and let some pretty Texas gal catch you. God bless you.
Hey Jared, the new additions to the truck are great! Really like all you are doing around the properties!
If you use a small thin file, you can resharpen the blades on your limb cutters. Maybe Dad has a way? I’m betting most of your cuttings grow, good idea to sell some roadside!
Continue to be safe and be well!
Happy New Year!
Love watching your videos! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and wishing you all a wonderful, safe, healthy and prosperous New Year. I am so proud of you! I am 77 now and living with my daughter and her husband. Please give my Love to your brother and Mom and Dad. God Bless. Grammie Suzie from Bradenton Fl ❤️
Someone had to have done with every other one gone
Love what you are doing with the truck ❤️
I hope y’all had a good Christmas
Hope you and your family had a merry Christmas.
I planted some Amur Maples a few years back. They were doing fine and one day they went from a foot tall down to 4" tall. I looked close at them and noticed some chew marks like what a beaver would do to bring down a small tree. We were a few miles from a river or creek so that eliminated beavers. I asked around and was told rabbits were bad about trimming young trees. Rabbits are bad around here in Missouri. When they don't have enough to eat like in drought or heavy snow they can destroy fruit trees in orchards. Carry an air rifle with you and thin the old waskily wabbits out. They're good eating fried with rabbit gravy for your mashed potatoes. I hope that helps. Vaughn
Where does Matt live?
Your truck looks nice.
I would say someone took your willo cuttings since it's every other one that is gone. That's no from an animal.
Unless you line these ponds with a clay liner they will never hold water!
🧡💞❤️💞💜
maybe someone dug them up and replanted them at shootdang ranch ?!
While are you digging another pond? I think it's waisted space.its good spot for building now with the dirt.
Odd that they took every other one.
Put a wire fence around them, possibly deer. Where i live we have monkeys. Nothing is safe with them. They will dig up any thing just to eat the roots. Ive seen deer do that as well. Im sure many small animals could do that, but we always cage them in chicken type wire until yet are bigger
That pattern isn't coincidence…..
Buy a Big magnet. It might help you find them bolts
