New year, new plants! Refresh your containers for the new year with cold-loving plants that thrive in the winter. You only need a few things to complete this look:
💚 Ornamental Cabbage
💚 Red Rooster Ornamental Grass
💚 Cyclamen
💚 Creeping Jenny
💚 Decorative Spanish Moss
We used a trough-like container for a unique look. Fill with potting soil and sprinkle in starter fertilizer to encourage root growth. We like Black Gold Potting Mix and Dr. Earth Root Zone. Place your cabbage in the middle as your focal point and work your way out. Next place the rooster grass in the back as the “thriller”, followed by the cyclamen on each end as “fillers.” Pop your creeping jenny up front for that gorgeous waterfall effect – the “spiller.” This is completely optional, but we added preserved Spanish moss on top of the soil for a more polished look. Place in full sun, and your plants will thrive through spring!
