I review, breakdown and explain Alice In Borderland Season 2 Netflix. I discuss the story focussed on Arisu, Aguni, Kuina, Ann, Chishiya along with other characters going through games in order to get back to the real world. I react to the ending with the Joker card and also give my theories and predictions for Season 3.

Do you think the Joker card means there's going to be an Alice In Borderland Season 3? Comment your thoughts below!
Can somebody explain to me what really happened in the last episode? I just couldn't decipher it
Idk i got the idea that they were all being played at like when the card pop out at the end, i felt like the "other scifi or unhuman force" gave them the choice to look like they live happy and renew but it could also not be real and could be "made up" and that they were for real a simulation, but i know the game wasnt that of an honest one because mira said they would know the truth later, but when they woke up, they dont know anyone except their intuition connects them to other person. Apart from that, they have a "meh" face not knowing their names or events that occured. So i believe. They are a simulation even at the end but they were lied to.
Did anyone have an idea about the woman that was said to remember about the fireworks? When arisu and asugi went to the community and found the video tape?
I haven't been this confused with an ending since Inception. The amount of plot twists it had during the last game were a full speed roller coaster.
but there was something that bugged me
they say that if you die in borderland, you die in real life but that litle boy's parents were completely alright
this could just be a plot whole or just something they messed up but it could also be connected to the joker
my theory: they died in borderland but the joker gave them a second chance to do some job in the world of the living
My comments on the entire episode:
-Uh.
-Uh?
-UH?!
-Ah.
-AH?!
-UUUUHHH?!!!!
-Aaaah….
And when the Joker card appeared: đ
I'm just confused. I want to clarify, Okay, so, borderland was the place between life and death (purgatory) that the characters went when their heart stopped after the meteor struck the city, and those who survived the game and choose to leave that place, their hearts beat again and survived and opened their eyes on the real world, and those who chose to stay became citizens of borderland and next face card masters, are they in a coma (I guess) in the real world, like they dont want to open their eyes yet?? if that so, here is my first question, WHO and WHERE are those previous face card masters? where are they? Mira, Kyuma and his team, the lawyer, The girl (queen) of the red team. Who are they? are they the people who are 'already' in comas before the meteor struck? but since they've lost in the borderland they also die in the real world? and now, they been replaced by people who are struck by the meteor, those who chose to stay the borderland, specifically those who are now 'currently' in coma? still confused. My second question, WHO ARE ALSO THOSE PEOPLE on the train station who are doing bets?
Those two are still my questions.
Now that the joker card is seen at the end, I think the joker card for s3 they're still in borderland? or if not, Maybe JOKER's the one who's in charge of the lasers, like he is the GRIM REAPER who is just watching all of it and just doing it's thing of handling the borderland in order. and that's just it.
YOU GUYS ARE FREE TO DROP YOUR OPINIONS & ANSWERS ON MY QUESTIONS , would like to read some. :)))
"ALICE in Borderland" and "Lost" are the two series both I like … they showed same perspective in two different realities … what a show …
when they almost all died in episode 7 i just had to pause because my brain couldnt process it, that along with game of thrones red wedding was one of the most heartwrenching scenes ive ever witness, genius cinema. and the finale was very satysfying, and confusing but in a great way.
The only thing I hate about this season is how they make characters "die". It gets all sad and stuff, they say their last words etc.. only to find out 20min later that they are still alive đ
the one thing left out is that the queen said they will get their answer, but forgetting everything, doesnt really seem like one. and decelining or accpeting the citizenship dont seem good enough either. it almost felt like everyone else who played the cards – bosses, knew way more than they were letting on or wanting to spill the beans, or either they were clueless too.
idk.
but basically if've accepted citizenship you were like what destined to die as a boss in a game? or you chose it whenever you liked it
I love AiB… I haven't yet finished season two, but I did read the manga and have seen online talk… another one of my friends finished season two and read the manga, she told me in follows it really well… and after watching this, it is mostly reassuring… HOWEVER , the show needs to end here… I really hope Netflix does not Riverdale it, because ending at season two is perfect and beautiful… I'm terrified they are going to ruin a good thing by keeping it going…
the ending itself at the very end after when nobody remembers anything feels flat af, not an original or exciting ending, usually used to just end things or leave the audience overthinking for some time. those are the type of endings i hate the most, it's understandable at the beginning, but at the end is a bit ugh, even if everyone says it makes sense and everything, it's just not it, it does not fullfill me on a personal and subjective level, feel me a bit empty handed. The only thing that was good at the very end hopefully was they rememered things about each other, that makes me happier.
One of the only shows Iâve ever watched where I felt the âenemiesâ were actually dangerous. In literally every game you can feel the tension in the air and you know it is life or death for all the characters. Like the king of spades oh my god that guy is absolutely insane.
Am I the only one that kept it in Japanese because it felt so much better. I changed it to English for one episode and it wasnât the same.
I still donât understand how the concept of borderland decided whoâs gonna be the queen/king of every games. We know they are real people like Banda, Kuzuryu or Kyuma. But were they the resident of borderland long before arisu and friends does or what
Fun fact: The joker can turn into ANY card.
What was the thing that fell from usagi s pocket when he got the noodles because I was waiting something related to this but nothing.I think it was the tape but I haven't see someone say something about this detail…or I missed something
I thought why their concept is so familiar. HunterxHunter Greed Island Arc.
The last episode sadly dropped the ball of a great show. The pacing this season was good in most. But the last few just kinda replayed old themes that didn't need it, and grand gestures that were just overall dumb.
The show in my opinion could of shaved time off the extra long eps in favour of more eps.
Will give it credit for being a show that finally trolled the protagonist with lies about whats going on. I hope it isnt the end is a bit wishywashy for such a well built mystery.
Me on last game be like. Imma kill this bloody woman with shotgun.
Arisu is still not waking up
What about the Ass cards? Do they not exist in Japanese card decks? Maybe the joker just symbolized, that the ending is not real, and they have to play for the ass cards in the next season. But it is a complete ending for me also.
The best ending for a show of 2022. Trust me guys you would not want S3 as it would it ruin the whole series. I just hope they will make a sequel of them getting to know each other IRL
I think joker is representing God, he give people a second chance, and he did it with Joker's way. Who else can come up with such crazy games idea? it is Joker
We actually can expact that all this games are actually illusion from coma from only the title of this series,& also this ending is inspired by Alice In Wonderland too, remember that Alice adventures in Wonderland are only her dreams. In reality she slept under a tree while dreaming
Meh… Life is a joke. Hence the Joker card.
the guy with the silver hair was the best character in this season
I mean it cant be the end. The joker can mean theres more games to come or at least a final one. I hope so. Also Banda and Yaba both choosed to stay in Borderland, so it would be nice to see more of them as gamemasters or something like that
Guys.!!! Ann is alive.!!! Omg finally I noticed
I felt my brain explode realising I forgot there are Joker Cards.
Loved the ending and they should definitely leave it at that, at least with this cast of characters. My personal grip is that Niragi survived like he shouldâve been dead and why is a man that tried to assault usagi twice get a second chance at life it was so annoying. Also, they way Akane got shot up they should have just killed her lmao like it felt silly and her âromanceâ with aguni was weird
The fight choreography and last ep. was so good.
Doubt : if the first players become phase card later. Then who was the phase card when they were players?
The message of the movie is similar to the old movie Saw. ("Let's to live hard") There are a lot of earthquakes in Japan, so I think I turned the near-death experience into a game. The ending of " is the same as the original. I don't know about the sequel to season 3, but there is a new story that the original writer wrote after the success of season 1 on Netflix. It is a story in which the main characters marry each other and rejoin the game after falling from a building during their. But I don't think season 3 will ever come out.
Arisu didn't remember as well
I donât know whatâs real anymore this was SOOOOO GOOOOOD
i believe that they got annâs heart to start beating again in the hospital cause they held hands in borderland. and thatâs why she survived
Can someone please with spoilers tell me what the actual f is going on in the end? Iâm trying to understand but I canât.
Does the people that stay and get residency just die in real life ?
I love how he goes all in on the owners and chefs but always stays respectful towards the wait
Itâs kinda like Danganronpa V3âs ending. It was all just fiction.
