  1. Head over to Kanagawa, it's so close! I went to Enoshima and Kamakura twice and absolutely loved them to bits. And definitely take the Enoden train, the view of Sagami Bay as you ride it is stunning.

  2. AHHH perfect frames and bgm.. it's so difficult to choose from the three gardens. They all seem to be very pleasant to visit. Btw I hope you can see Toyama snow walls this winter and hopefully make a video about it more powers! thank you for sharing awesome videos!

  3. I'd definitely love to see some nice videos of Kamakura, it's so close toTokyo, but I don't see it represented very often, but if your looking to see the countryside and you'd like to treat yourself, you should check out Iya Valley. The Iya Valley Onsen was an awesome experience. I stayed in the moon viewing room (there's only one and I recommend it over the other slightly cheaper rooms because it's big and it has a patio and a telescope included in the room). There's also quite a bit to see in Iya Valley nature-wise, a rope bridge, a few mountains and bike/boat tours of the area. You also get a huge very fancy traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast included for the price.

  4. いつも、アンドルーさんのビデオの音楽を聴くと涙が出そうになります。あなたの友達が作ってるの?

  5. I love japanese gardens! One of my favorite easy to get to gardens is hamarikyu gardens in tokyo, I recommend getting a water bus to asakusa from there 🙂

  6. Lovely place. I visit Hama Rikyu Garden which reminds me a bit of this place. I take the river cruise ship down the Sumida river which might be a good subject for a video.

  7. I vote for the English garden! I'll have to take a mental note of it when I study in Tokyo in case I get homesick, it really looks like some of the places here in the south of England.

  8. if I go to Tokyo someday, Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden will be the first place I visit. I never knew it was this big! thank you for this beautiful video 😍

  9. Awesome video! I'd have to go with the English garden. By the way, was that one of those ice cream bars from the epic bike ride you did?

  10. One of the things your videos always amaze me is your choice of music for each video.
    They are spot on.

  11. モナカアイスを食べる時の顔が幸せそうでいいですね!:)

  12. It must take forever to shoot and edit such awesome videos! Thanks for your hard work!

  13. I prefer the Japanese one because we have lots of gardens in Germany which are including Japanese gardens but none of them is a big and as beautiful as this one 🙂

  14. Thanks for the vid, may I ask…. besides Shinjuku Gyoen, which park / garden also classified as the best one?I will go to Japan in August and looking for advice 🙂

  15. Thanks for the video! I had planned on going here on my last day in Shinjuku – it was only about 3 minutes walk from my hotel – but ended up getting sick. At least I can see it on YouTube!

  16. Great video, it really add fuel to my desire to travel and learn in Japan, and finally visit this garden ! So my top 3 is..
1 Japanese garden : simple, quiet and naturally beautiful
2 English garden : big landscapes that allow ppl to have a pretty view of Shinjuku's skyscrapers, British charm I'd say
3 French garden : way too organised, all the wildness of gardens is lost for extravagance. Probably the one I like the least, as I live in Europe, I really don't like that Versailles-like style, where nature was just used as a demonstration of Louis XIV's mightiness and wealth for his image of "Roi Soleil", so it's kinda based on propaganda bases. It disgusts me a little bit, but of course all the flowers and trees are nice to watch anyway, but nature is by default chaotic, so all this order in french gardens seems 'unnatural'.

Anyway, if you want to see more about Shinjuku Gyoen, I recommend you the anime movie "Kotonoha no Niwa" (The garden of words), where a lot of scenes are in the japanese garden. It's photo realistic, with Makoto Shinkai art style. Check it if you like drama/love/emotional stories 🙂

  17. Since this is my first time, I'm obviously going to the traditional japanese gardens lol
