Use compost or bagged leaves in contractor bags to fill spaces & gaps under the house or flashing or boards to keep wind chill out
Batteries-Lanterns-Flashlights-Oil Lamps
Weather Radio
A homemade Battery Box to charge phones
We made an Off Grid Portable Shower with a 5 gallon bucket Battery Box & Pump search youtube there was a guy who had a whole list of supplies it worked great!
Windows- Bubble insulation roll from Home Depot was cut to size & put up on the inside of our home windows & also the thick sun blocking curtains
Bring in Worm Bins to the house
Bring inside succulents or sensitive plants
Take cuttings of plants bring inside
Use Frost Covers Planket I like the green ones they are for the coldest temps
Use whatever you have sheets, beach towels, anything is better than nothing
fuzzy blankets worked good too
The garden hoops helped to hold in heat for plants in bead or in ground
Make sure to have lots of bricks to hold down covers you can find them cheap or free on Marketplace
Bagged Leaves in contractor bags are great insulation to place around fruit tree bases
I also us FREE Bubble mailer i cut open to wrap our fruit tree bases they are self sealing too so it saves time & tape- worked great on our avocado tree & pomogranate tree
Citrus- never plant in ground they will freeze even if covered
we lost meyer lemon, orange & key lime in 2020 Freezepocalypse
We now grow in large pots & bring into our house during a freeze!
A rocket stove would be nice to have we bought the minuteman rocket stove & were not happy with the performance it was hard to keep the flames going with the high winds here. Looking into the silver dragon rocket stove for our wish list.

Hope i didn’t miss any tips
