It was difficult to build the cabinets because the tools for carpenters and cabinetmakers are completely different.
However, since they fit perfectly and join well, it’s a good idea to install them before painting the wall.

What is the name of that two-piece meter and where can I buy it ? Thank you
Honestly think this is just as good if not better than a cabinet maker can make. Love your work. Great video as always, cheers 🙂
Beautiful work as always I don’t think it could be done better 👍🏻thank you for the video
as a furniture builder and cabinetmaker, I think you did an excellent job. Well done.
Shoyan-san, your workmanship far surpasses any cabinetmaker. (With apologies to @BronsonDorsey)
If you’re not a cabinet maker, I would have been very surprised…. I would take anything you build like this item any day, for an in main room display piece!
This makes me want to pick up my saw and drill and make something.
How would you attach shelves? Screws and tarusens?
Much better than my IKEA attempts 👍
God Jul og Godt Nytt År
Excellent work as always
What kind of wood do you use? I'm learning carpentry in Germany and we use spruce, but I don't know what the most common wood is in Japan.
I'm glad that you said that there are many different tools and ways of working between carpenters and cabinet makers. Thanks for showing us your work.
The ease with which he draws level and square lines freehand shows his talent and experience! Amazing craftsmanship.
Super travail 👌
Looks very nice, thanks for showing us.
13:43 "That's a good feeling."
So satisfying to watch something fit perfectly.
The pieced cedar is so pretty. Such a brilliant choice!
Love your channel. No doubt you are a mastercraftsmen. Enjoy seeing you produce such perfect work.
Fine work. As good as any cabinet maker could have done… I believe you were asked to make these units because you are such a fine woodworker and carpenter.
His jobsite is cleaner than my room
What is the name of the wood glue you use, it seams like reallly nice stuff.
Get this man a plug cutter already, so he doesn't have to make anymore plugs by hand.
These Friday videos have quickly become my regular content. Each week I like wrapping up work and tuning in. Thank you both for amazing content!
YOU DO REALLY CRAFTSMAN WORK!!!!!!!
A wonderful job ! Merry Christmas wish to you and your family.
I would love to see some of these tools in an Amazon affiliate store. There I are several I see in the videos I would be glad to purchase.
Wonderful work and a great result!
The quality is better than that of a cabinet maker. Yours is always perfect.
I am always impressed with your quality workmanship. I also am amazed at the quality of your materials. I would love having those cabinets in my home. Your attention to details and installation leave beautiful results.
Very good job. One question- what is the name of the measuring tool you are using (10:00) and, if possible the link to this tool?
Thanks for sharing
Very interesting that this went in seemingly before before plastering, I wonder how much thickness the plaster takes up or if it's filled screw holes/joins and painted face.
The quality might not be the same, but is is at least 80% there.
The material itself makes the rest 🙂
Thank you for you hard work
Hats off to the framers in Japan. Here in the states we add scribes to all our cabinet(walls and ceilings) cause there is no way they are going to be tight without gaps
Very nice shoe cabinet love the colour contrast. Have a Christmas and new year all. 🎄😀👍👍👍
Sir, you area serious craftsman ⭐️
Thank you Shoyan sensei
Looks fantastic…you can't tell a cabinetmaker didn't make them.
Shoyan, how much would you value your time (in yen per hour) if you had to travel to cailfornia to build my home
That was a joy to watch. So much craftmanship, dedication and attention for details. Respect to you sir! 🙏
Shoyan can I come to Japan to do my apprenticeship with you please 🙏🙏🙏
This is going to be a lovely home.
