In this one, I finally take on the challenge of making an edible herb terrarium. As someone who cooks every day, having fresh herbs on hand can make all the difference when it comes to building flavors. Being able to have these plants on hand indoors year-round is a great thing. Not only that but keeping them in a terrarium is arguably easier than in a pot for example, but it looks really cool as well.

I hope you all enjoy the build and learn something new. Let me know what you think of the finished product down in the comments!

  1. I Have stumbled across your videos and I’m very Inspired to try and make terrariums of my own. I wanted to know if you’ve ever used a grow bag as your mesh filter to hold your substrate. What do you think the pros and cons of it would be?

  2. I really enjoy your projects. I was wondering if and when you will ever do an aquaponic or hydroponic herb garden.

  3. pas d'accord! le basilic et le romarin n'ont pas les même besoins ainsi que l'origan!

  4. I would love to have seen another iteration of indoor herb containers, even if its just simple single plant ones to line a windowsill

  5. I would love to see an aquaponic paludarium set up…. Like edibles artfully arranged on a wall so it looks scaped then with water flow and nutrients cycled through a fish section at the base…

  6. Hello. Thanks for posting this video. I have been searching for ways to use my 32 gallon unused fish tank, and decided that I would like to use it for editable herbs. I was wondering if I could use the lid that came with the tank and it's lights…possibly. Now, that I saw your set up I need to figure out how I too can place a variety of herbs, in my empty tank, while ensuring they get the humidity and warmth that they need. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! I need to find a way to repurpose this fish tank for an indoor herb garden.
