    giving these talks are to deaf ears they obviously dont respect u to hear
    but we do not tune in to hear this either or any kind of political advice

    I love how you explained so perfectly how to best curate content that resonates with your goals.

    I'm 33 years old living in the Midwest in America. We both have a love for horses and the countryside. My life mainly surrounds going to the barn to be with my horses. Work, and home. I rarely buy new clothes. And I rarely wear makeup. But with alot of your input I look for higher quality materials. I have been able to upgrade my wardrobe.

    P.S. please make sure you get your ulnar nerve checked. I had mine entrapped in 2010 after a riding accident. And I had to have the nerve surgically released.

    I totally agree that you don’t have to please everyone however I think your team are doing you a massive disservice at the moment by not helping you to understand the TikTok culture before you build a channel there. You may get the odd positive comment but generally the sentiment to your content is very negative and there’s an obvious reason why to me (working in marketing). Before any brand joins a channel we do a lot of social listening to understand the culture and then (imagine a Venn diagram) find the middle ground – what works for your brand and works for the channel. There is so much lovely content you could create that still feels true to your brand but that also respects the TikTok audience and culture. It’s like if you joined a club in real life – there would be a culture there and you wouldn’t just go in and do your own thing ignoring the subtle rules and way people do things. If your brand is a business then I’d follow the same rules any business follows when it comes to marketing. Hope that is helpful in some way x

    Yes Lydia! You are totally right and you do not have to feel like you have to share and explain what’s going on. I used to overshare so much just so people didn’t think I was a bitch, or stuck up, and felt like if I said what I have going on I might make more sense as a person. We see you! Without knowing what’s going on. You are human. We all grieve, we get stressed, we have hormones, bad days, amazing days, super focused, feeling all over the place. Whatever it is, the right people get it without you even having to say and others will make you explain yourself. I never normally comment but just wanted to say, Lydia you are coming into your own and I love to see it. I’m the same age as you and totally in the same place and it’s amazing to watch you grow and get more comfortable in your own skin and just being yourself. You’ve found your style, and we are here for the journey. My favourite thing about you is actually that you are hilarious!!!!! I’ve been here since the blog days before YouTube and I’ve been watching since the start, and I’ve changed soooooo much in that time I would hate if my whole growth was on the internet. It’s so much to deal with and you handle it really well. Not to mention life behind the scenes to deal with. You’ve been consistent and that is the hardest thing to do when life is not consistent, it’s up and down, and all over the place!! Keep your chin up darling!
