  2. I grew sugarcane a few years ago and it tasted great! Super easy to propagate in wet newspaper and hot temps. Be careful where you plant them because they attract termites!

  3. That was so sweet of her to give you the sugar canes. The tour was great, love seeing gardens. Good luck with the sugar cane.

  4. My dad has grown sugar cane for years and my mom has always tried getting rid of it๐Ÿ˜…. I'm curious to see how it grows in a container, maybe then I could convince her to leave it in the garden! Great video, loved seeing that edible landscape๐Ÿ˜€

  5. The nodes are where the cane grows from- I still have some wrapped in damp paper- they grew on top of my refrigerator over the winter, until I could plant them. LOL

  6. I love sugarcane! We grew them in Hawaii. Now I have 3 varieties here in SOCAL and Iโ€™d be happy to share them with you if you want and have the space ๐Ÿค—

  7. The puffy flower tree looks like Lucanea, its very drought resistant and grows wild in the dry Caribbean. I heard its good for animal feed and nitrogen fixing in soil.

  8. Lol I saw that post too! I wish I had room! I ended up planting stevia for our sugar type plant. It is awesome for our area! Can't wait to see how your cane does.

  9. Guajes are trees with a been pods. Theyโ€™re so good. I used to eat them as a kid all the time. Glad to see the name again. Now I know that my next project is lol

  10. Please do more of these garden tours. Do you know the variety of avocado tree that was under the umbrella?

  11. it would had been nice if the dad was there for the tour. It appears that he is more familiar with the plants. At 5:26 what is the name of that plant/tree. I live in zone 7 and it keeps popping up all around my yard, I thought it was a weed and always pull it up. However a couple of them I just let grow just to see what it is.

  12. Hi Diana!๐Ÿค— Love seeing different gardens and your video tour was amazing!๐Ÿ‘ That was so kind of her to share extra sugarcane with others! Stay blessed and safe! ๐Ÿฆ‹6/20/2021๐Ÿฆ‹
