Your backyard gardens look great, looks like a full time job watering and tending to. How come I don't see any weeds anywhere? That's what takes a lot of my time.
Your collection is very impressive, Ross, and you've got to be proud of the result of all your work. Sharing your collection with us will help insprire others, I'm sure. Your range of plants is incredible…….for instance, you're the first one I've heard to talk about che. I grew it a number of years back, but the fruit always dropped. I cut it down and still had the osage orange sprout back every year. I think I finally got rid of it last year, but if it comes back thru the new gravel I laid over the top of it, do you need a start, or did you source it already? One plant that I noticed that you don't have, that you may wish to consider is Saskatoon or serviceberry, or also known as juneberry. In my opinion, it tastes better than blueberries, being just a tad bit sweeter and isn't nearly as picky about an acidic soil as blueberries are. I do believe that they will also thrive in a partially shaded environment. Again, Ross, a very informative and enjoyable video……and your pronunciation of the fig names was much better than what I can muster up. Your dedication to growing has definitely paid off.
Have you heard of a dwarf pomegranate called 'nana'. Might be nice to add to the collection!
Hi Ross, this video started auto playing after another video today. Hard to believe how far you have come in 5 years. This would make a great retrospective on Figboss!
