    In my home town they would fill the public tennis courts that had a lip around them with water to make an ice rink. Tennis in the Summer, skating in the winter. Fun all year long.

    why don't you have a pond with nymphs? you have so much space, you could swim in it on hot days, in our north they also breed fish in the pond, sturgeons. I will make a pond and a pool, a pool on the terrace, and a pond on the street, there will be water lilies, nymyfei, lotuses we do not hibernate and other aquatic plants

    There are windmills that are actually yard art, I have my eye on one, it’s on my bucket list. It’s like motion yard architecture. Your gardens are so fun to see evolve, love all your energy!

    Gardens aren't really things you wait for it to grow so you can see the end result. Gardens keep changing due to plants dying, declining and outgrowing allotted spaces.
    Cedrus deodara, the deodar cedar, So it isn't deoDOORa….there is no second O in the name.

    Buying land for gardens. In Our state we have a County extension agent, also anything to do with 4H or agriculture farming, they will come out and do a percolation test, and soil test for you. They will tell you where water runs, and where you can put wells down, that happens in Indiana. I don’t know about other states, but it would be worthwhile looking into it.

    Good Morning, Merry Christmas to you, your family and also to all my garden answer family. Windmills that could pump from a well or even for winter interest. I work for a windmill service here in Oklahoma. I wish I could attach photos so you could get a glimpse of what it could look like. We just finished a wooden one, custom made and it's absolutely breath taking.
