Hello! My name is Bethany and I grow things in my rooftop container garden in Chicago, zone 6a.

In today’s video, I’ll show you which plants died, broke, or got eaten by budworms while we were at the Grand Garden Show.

  1. Your gomphrena really is the star of the show! I really hope I can get my hands on some seeds for my 2023 garden! Don’t worry I think you’ll get most things to bounce back & Yay!!! A morning glory bud 👏😆🥰 xx

  2. It’s always disappointing when you come back and your garden is not as you left it but some of the things will come back once you do a little cutting.

  3. I think everything as a whole looks great considering you had a storm.

  4. My plants are currently dieing because of the heatwave on the west coast. I gave up trying to keep them alive. Gonna start again maybe in October once it is cooler.

  5. try giving the pineapple sage some more water, mine pops back even after it got super withered from temps in triple digits

  6. My morning glory has similar yellow leaves. I sprayed neem oil a few times I think it helped a bit. Not sure about what causes it though. The yellow leaves didn’t affect it flowering. Mine has finally put on a big show!

  7. I'm also curious what causes browning leaves on the lower part of dahlias. Most of my plants look like yours. I'm in zone 7a near Philadelphia.

  8. Wow So cute! 😍
Gorgeous garden despite the pest damage and watering problem you had. You have a green thumb and a flower thumb 👍👍
