In todays video a mix of black and white and colour landscape photography at a local reservoir. On arriving the light wasn’t great and long exposure black and white photography was the way to go (with limited success). Later it was time for some sunset colour photography.
I hope you’ll enjoy it

Brilliant Ralph, some loveley compositions you had, although i love b&w but tonight the colour images were just great, have a great week and see on christmas eve
Hi Ralph nice shot again, I thought the shot with the island was very good and also the one with the pylons removed, nice editing, have a great week. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
I did enjoy it. You got some beautiful images. I love the last one. Yes, mosquitos can be terrible. They seem to find the places where I miss with bug spray. One of the blessings of winter is that they all get killed off until next Spring. Thanks for sharing!!!
Wonderful video, great B&W images
Great video Ralph, some really good captures. The long exposures were magnificent but the one that caught my eye was the last with the pylons and the beautiful reflections. Keep up the good work.
I like the way you experiment with your photography Ralph. I believe that the bnw image with the little island was the best of the series. As far as the power pylons are concerned, I am torn whether they add to or ruin the photos, mostly inclined on the latter. There is nothing wrong with removing man made features from the landscape, especially when they ruin an image. Thanks for sharing!!
Some really nice images there Ralph. At least you have some color to work with. I’m down to one here in Oregon: white! About a foot of it! (Gives me time to work on past images though). Love the cloud reflections in the long exposure shots. And yea- the power lines needed to go! 😊 Hope you have the merriest of Christmases.
Great video Ralph, loved the image at 6.00 where I thought the long exposure worked a treat 🙏. I’m not copying but my scheduled video in January features pylons and wires too 😂(the arch nemesis of any photographer!). Have a great holiday mate 🎉
I remember the place Ralph, big change in the weather since we met up. Some great shots in B&W, do love the second shot with the little bit off an island. Nice sunset shots also. Many thanks for sharing your work 🙂
A great video demonstrating what creative photography can accomplish; I loved the B & W shot, as well as the water shot with the rocks and the scene with the towers. I thought that the towers added dramatic interest and your decision not to clone them out was a wise onel Whatever works. Once again TY and Happy Holidays to your family.
