When it rains, it pours – literally!
Rain comes so infrequently where I live in Arizona, that when it does, we save it to water our succulents with!
Join me for a moment while I collect water for my succulents, listening to the rain and thunder in the background.

We had a drought this year so we had little rain water. We have had some rain since fall and I put buckets out to catch it. I also grow some tropical plants that do not tolerate tap water. Our water is quite hard so I end up having to buy gallon bottles of distilled and spring water for them.
Some people can let their water sit out to let the chlorine dissipate but the excess minerals do not go away and can really mess up your soil and your pots after a while. Some types of plants will just die.
Rain water is a great solution if you can get it. We live in a forest so most of the water is filtered through trees but that is ok as long as we use it up right away.
I wanted to see you water!! 😆💚
