If you are an organic gardener, more over a caribbean gardener, you would have heard of cow manure.

Cow manure is a very good organic fertilizer for the plants, however, the con out weighs the pro tremendously.

  1. I never get weeds from cow manure because i get it fresh from a farm not bags in the store

  2. How can I repurpose my medium for gardening in general? I had 3 buckets of cannabis that died on me , had small amount of mildew but they died from nutrient deficiency

  3. I thought cow manure didn't have seeds because their digestive system kills all seeds?

  4. Here in New Mexico we use cow manure from dairy cows. We process it with him temps to destroy any seeds. It gots all main elements and micro minerals. When you see real compost it looks close to coffee grounds and that’s what we use with fantastic results

  5. Cow manure is literally THE sh*t. If you get weeds, pull them or put some kind of weed control cover. The best tomatoes I've ever grown were in some raised beds with about 50% cow manure. The were so big that when sliced, they were bigger than a piece of bread and were delicious. I gave away dozens of buckets of tomatoes that year.

  6. The weeds in Dominica is no different to those in Grenada. Dominica is a green country. There is an abundance of nitrogen in the plants which you can make compost with the dry leaves of bananas and other fruit trees and grass.
