  1. I tried the boiling water, worked like a charm, even though it turned it brownish, it was better than having crabgrass all throughout the yard.

  2. Pouring boiling water on them is smart, I guess. But what if your lawn is like mine (huge!) I'd end up making a million trips out the yard with the tea kettle (not to mention the time it will take to boil the water each trip!)

  3. I have been reading that crabgrass dies in the winter. We just moved into a house in California, around Thanksgiving and crab grass has been growing in the yard since we moved in. Why is this?

  4. Get rid of crab grass by covering it with invasive perennial grass. "Great" idea for a garden. If I sound sarcastic it's because I being sarcastic.
