This week in my Arizona garden I share tips for growing and pollinating corn, how to combat powdery mildew, and how to get rid of Bermuda grass.
During the GARDEN TOUR I show you all the summer and winter squash and other things growing in the garden including Roselle Hibiscus, West Indian Gherkins, and more.
This week we harvest lots of squash, tomatoes, and garlic from the garden.

Hey
do you let you any one come visit you and your garden
ππππππππ quality video, stay connected
Wow, your Roselle is flowering already π³. I have planted it all around my garden this year. π I love cilantro, so will have to look into the herb you mentioned. What location and sun exposure did you give it? What is your favorite cantaloupe? I'm trying Madhu Ras and Sweet Passion this year and have them climbing the ladder mesh hoop. Not sure if it's long enough but I need to keep it out of the way of my sweet potatoes vines. Can you recommend any flowers that I can plant now? I just harvested my first patty pan squash, they were delicious, I wish I knew what variety they were but I got them from a seed swap and they weren't labled.
Trying to decide whether to do shade cloth on my garden. It is south facing and get sun all day. What is your opinion? Thanks
Canβt wait to see how the papalo does! Iβve never heard of it and cilantro is my absolute favorite. I can only have it for a short while in the spring since we have hot summers here in Arkansas.
Always a pleasure watching your videos! May I ask what kind of weed cloth you are using? Thanks.
I look forward to your videos. Love the music on this one too …
Can you please mention wat bean varieties you are growing…?
This was great Angela. Really enjoy your channel and your garden is amazing! π₯°
You are such an inspiration! Thank you for sharing and teaching! May I ask which weed barrier are you using and where it can be bought? I'm adding a couple more beds to our yard that initially was a combination of gravel and Bermuda grass, it's mostly Bermuda grass now. The plan is to cut the grass, put a layer or two of cardboard first, then the weed barrier, then mulch. There are so many varieties of weed barrier, I would like to get a quality one that will last and block the pesky grass.
So glad to see your subscribers growing. I share your site whenever possible. You have helped me improve my gardening skills so much. I look forward to more videos.
What weedcloth do you use? Mine seems to fall apart fairly quickly and doesn't stop grass.
What do you recommend if the bermuda has already taken over the garden bed?
I just love your videos–how you move through your content with very helpful information and in a beautiful artistically arrangement in music and photography. Thyme is my favorite herb as well!
This is very non-PC, but when I was a kid my mom used to say, "How do you spot a friendless person in Utah? They're buying zucchini at the store!"
